In the past, this island was a fertile and peaceful kingdom ruled by a royal family. The coat of arms was carved in the likeness of dragons and angels, the protectors of the kingdom. The kingdom’s history was said to span several thousand years, the faith of the denizens in the reigning king and queen strong and the entire island enjoyed the embrace of peace.
However over a decade ago, demons suddenly appeared and attacked the kingdom. The Knightly chapters were annihilated by the demons’ powerful magic. The King and Queen were killed and the capital was felled by flames in just one night. The archdemon who attacked the kingdom styled herself the “Progenitor Demon”.
The archdemon proclaimed the island would be ruled by her loyal subordinates, the five “Witches”.
Now, the island is under the witches’ control. The five witches are beings possessing great power, the island’s denizens are cowed by the witches’ intimidating powers. The witches have ruled for over a decade, but none of them age nor weaken. If anything their powers continue to grow. People think that making a contract with the Witches and the demons would allow one to gain eternal life and magic powers. Those who opposed these beings who were effectively demons found their numbers dwindling, until the island’s denizens resigned themselves to the witches’ cruel reign.
Gilbert, a man who hunts demons for a living yet has command over demonic powers, ventures forth onto Regulus island to hunt the demons who have possessed the Five Witches as well as the Archdemon who dominates them.

A shame this is MTL. M&M art style is god-tier if you want to look at something different than the usual moe art style.

I’ve played the first few minutes, and the text hurt my brain. It is all translated, but the japanese text is displayed first, and then after a few seconds the english text is loaded. FOR EACH SENTANCE
And a good example of how bad is it is:
“If you enter my territory without permission, I will kill you from you first?”
And mark you, i’ve copied this line directly from the game, and double checked.
Which is a bummer, because i would have liked to play this.
Also, if you try and go into a menu, there a fade effect which lasts 4 seconds. it feels like an eternaty.
Can anyone vouch that this game is playable with MTL? I’m just asking for it to be coherent, doesn’t have to be perfect.
I just went through the first few minutes, and it wasn’t good. Mainly because not even all the lines are translated. It seems to randomly go back and forth from english and japanese. I’ve played whole games with visual novel reader and google translate, so I don’t mind if the english isn’t perfect, but I don’t know if I will bother with this.

vndb don’t like machine translation there is ongoing wars all the time if they should be added or not due to this many fans add/remove them, they are hidden or crossed out and some extreme members delete the entry altogether.
Because of this machine translations on vndb are slow to get updated or don’t get updated at all.
More on this, this translation was completed last year.. yep last year, I assume no one seen it who updates to these sites.

wait they could do that? talk about prejudice. i mean some MTL are quite good as they’ve been through some editing like Kami no Rhapsody, while some “manual translation” is so bad it’s almost unplayable. I’m not talking about bad localization, it seem like a real MTL and lazy editing, for example is Harem Game. Anyway could u tell me which is this? i mean it already got tag that i hated like Gang Bang, gang rape so if TL is also bad it’s really not worth to download
