that was part of a fan patch the translator incorporated in the translation but he decided not to included nether the level drain attack nor the bonus battle with the Chimera Dryad after the fight with gnome.

Good rpg game. Very kinky but only has voices for a handful of characters out of like 50 and they are only voiced in the ero scenes. This game is also incomplete and seems to be divided into “chapters”. Waiting for chapter 2.
The game was made by a pretty small team so of course they couldn’t afford voices for all the monsters in the game.
I wonder who beat up Alice in the first place? The Goddess was absent at that point in time, so it seems suspicious, but also the fourth Knight does not make an appearance, unlike Tamamo, Arumaeruma, and Granberia.
I was guessing the Goddess beat Alice…since it looks like she is the main threat to Luka’s plan of coexistence between monsters and humans.
It was Illias who burnt down the village that caused man & monster to live away from eachother. 90% sure :p

jeah, i think illias is the evil one, but i do think you’ll have to fight Alice in one way or another. Cause somewhere in the game she said that in order to “procreate” her mate needs to be stronger as her (defeat her?) and willingly (not forced) marries with her.
Hence why luka is collecting all those elemental spirits? like sylph. Well thats just my opinion, but i’m guessing it to be true, a lot of minor things are pointing to this in the game
@Caelistas, Luka caught Alice’s attention because she feel there was something odd about him(like the hidden powers he showed after pass out during a fight. She even theorize if his mother was a monster or the ring he carries give him some kind of power but she can’t find a answer.
Probably because of that she was inside his house when he came back from Ilias temple.
And later i think she started to sympathize with his ideals and liking him.
But i agree about someday in the future Luka will have to fight and defeat her…
Well if you unlock the Ilias encyclopedia page she has an alternative pose that to me hints at her being evil.

Just my guess but Luka can be some kind of fallen angel or something super strong that Illias want to manipulate him into killing the Monster lord. so she just kick the injured monster lord to him in the first place.
i wished the drawings were done by the same person that drew alice… it really took me outta the game when the graphics vary so significantly lol

The Dude in the game is to YOUNG for the hero that YOU have to play and with with his eyes uncovered (most eroges main characters face usually doesn’t shows to give the players some pride and at least makes them feel like its actually they’re the character). And another thing, Half of the H-scene make me feel awkward. It’s like I’m a freakin’ GAY looking at some guy caught with his penis dangling around then suddenly ejaculates and gets rape on the anal( WHAT THE F*** !! ).
Are you mind? How they are suppose to show the main character getting raped if they don’t show his face or body?
Also only a few monsters do that. If you don’t wanna get your ass raped don’t lose the fight or don´t play the game.. xD
What I meant is that only the eyes shouldn’t been shown not the entire face or the whole body(most eroges do that). I but I admit it have a nice plot and gaming sequence for an SFRPG. Looking forward to the next chapter

I think seeing the facial reactions give the game more impact during these scenes. The fact that the character is small makes him seem vulnerable. Personally I think the game is perfect, aside from the mosaic over certain female parts. There are so many monsters, and the script does a wonderful job, so there’s bound to be a scene and situation the reader can enjoy.
Mosaics are required by japanese law.
Faceless protagonist is somehow relic of the past – first eroge games had CGs don’t display face of male character to help the reader feel like it’s himself. Soon it became industry standard, and many players feel “odd” if the protagonist has a face (unless it’s some kind of “strong” protagonist with clearly written character – having faceless Tomoya (from Clannad) or Rance (from Rance series) would be awfull.
Well, i always prefered protagonists with faces…

I need some help. I downloaded the 3 parts and extracted them all into one folder, downloaded the patch and followed the readme but it always crashes at the beginning(When Luka wakes) I currently have Windows 7 Home Premium. Any help?
i think there is no wrong with windows 7 since i use same windows version. maybe 1 of parts is damaged or not properly downloaded.

There is probably a way to die in one turn since there is an achievement saying “Forced to Come in One Turn”.

Yes, There is To Heart 2: Final Dragon Chronicles on PC, and To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers, that is a port of the first one on PSP, with some changes. The two are in japanese only.
So there are no other translated GOR RPG beside Monster Girl and Raidy? That sure is a pity.
Hope that this is going to change soon.
Between the two I must admit I like MG better: every encounter has a GOR scene (the downside is that you rarely get a VR scene) and while cliched, the story has still some auto-irony and even some good dialogues (best so far being the “You got to get the revenge on the people who oppressed you! I was forced to become a hero!!”, not a bad take on the protagonist).
Weak points are that the GOR scenes are waaaaaay too long. I mean: ok, you won, ok, it’s a rape… but don’t gloat too much… I’m not a masochist, I guess…
And the fact that some arts are really crappy.
Oh, and chalk one more Gramberia fan, cliched as it may be her character, I still hope that her and Sara will be happy.
Last but not Least: Monster Collection Part 2 will be out around november. There is a tranlated demo (one encounter only) out there and you should find it pretty easily.

For the come in 1 turn achievement Just attack the mimic on the first turn and it will insta eat you.
You can get the “Come in One Turn” achievement also by fighting Tamamo. To fight her, you have to accept the Poseidon’s Bell, then choose to fight her. She will utterly annihilate you instantly (she hits you for 300+ damage 9 times in a single turn). Also, the Mimic can kill you in one turn if you attack her when her chest is open.
To get Ilias’ Monster Encyclopedia entry, you have to lose more than 15 times in a single play through and select “Evaluation”.
After 15 evaluations, Ilias gets pissed off and ‘punishes’ you in a way only suitable to this game.

Incorrect. Tamamo does not KO you in the first turn. She just makes herself look menacing in the first turn and then KOs Luka in the second.

The patch is intended to be copied into the game folder, not to be opened directly.
Whoa, talk about a well done game. Heavily anticipating the sequel. There were dozens of monsters that were of animals I couldn’t even imagine looking attractive.
Not particularly big on loli either, such as the scene early on with the band of kid bandits. Although I did enjoy some of it where they may look loli (usually only the face) but the way the delivery was handled, it set the mood perfectly.
Normally I would judge anything that H-related because you forgive it because of the territory. This was made quite well considering.
PS. The best encounter I think there is probably isn’t even in the first part. The succubus in the trial of part 2 is perhaps loli (weirdly it’s presented as if she older) but it’s the best fight I’ve played.
Hope there is more succubus in that part ;P

I seem to be having trouble… understanding… this english patch. Everything worked smoothly, I’ve even gone through the game once already. However I cannot understand a lick of what’s happening or going on. Everything in game aside from a few rogue words are this weird jumble that I can only descirbe as “cursed email speak”. Is this how it is or did I copy something wrong- I don’t know.
If you’re getting random symbols like “$#%#$^” then your computer isn’t set for japanese locale. Uninstall the game, set locale to japanese (“FAQ” section of website has instructions), install the game again, apply english patch).
I wouldn’t say they were old-time censor, they’re more like… how to put it… It would be if every letter were cut in half and bunched together with the letter after it. It is honestly something I’ve only ever seen in .Hack// when getting emails from Aura.
But I’ll try your fix, hopefully that will put an end to this oddity.
