I Walk Among Zombies

I Walk Among Zombies

Yuusuke is an office worker with a dislike for people, preferring to do his job alone and in silence. When the company he works for suddenly goes bankrupt, he loses his job, and with that, all his motivation disappears, and he becomes a complete shut-in.

On one of the rare days he decides to leave his apartment after a week-long video game binge, a mysterious man attacks him and bites his arm. Though Yuusuke manages to escape back to his room, he comes down with a fever and becomes bedridden for several days.

When Yuusuke wakes up, recovered, he goes to resume his normal life, but he soon finds that in the short time he was asleep the world has completely changed. Zombies have emerged in every corner of the world simultaneously, and the few human survivors are now in hiding.

However…

“Why am I the only one the zombies don’t attack?”

How will Yuusuke take advantage of his new situation, and what will he discover?

Im very confused by the vndb tags, so is the main character a villain or an anti hero? also how does the rape work? is it like he just rapes the girl through all 3 games, or she’s raped by other people or is it just rape at the beginning or something?

When is the upload of the sequel planned ?

  4. Lindo says:

Don’t be fooled by the hentai. This is really good. Hope the other episodes get translated.

  5. Zonbi says:

Game setting is very dark, protagonist is cynical and is a anti-hero. Story is split into 3 game, this being the 1st. Played all 3 games and what makes this title great is the heroine Mitsuki’s character development. She starts off as a powerless and weak character but becomes independent and courageous by the 3rd game, her change truly moves the heart.

Everything else is underdeveloped and unfinished, other heroines have so much unexplored potential and protagonist special characteristic was never explained, ending was lackluster.

    Me reads the synopsis
    “Zombie theme? This looks interesting””

    me read the tags
“Okay so it’s hentai, sigh, should i forget it? does it have good plot?”

  7. NS says:

They’re using an old blood CG. Nice, quite nostalgic. Makes me remember good old Tsukihime.

    @Mill
Each to their own but im really looking forward to the next parts. The story is there, just unfortunately in parts. SPOILERS! Zombies getting smarter the more they eat will likely lead to some pretty insane moments near the end when the zombies are likely as smart (or smarter?) than humans. This part was in my eyes just the prologue, and there are 3 more coming.
The MC… i really love him. Not in the way that i wanna be his friend but im just so sick and tired of the usual “good guy, nobody gets hurt” crap ive seen in basically every other novel. He is logical to a fault. Which in a zombie world would be the only thing stopping someone from dying.
And the origional light novel is just translated 3 more parts after this ending unfortunately.

  11. Mill says:

I remember reading the light novel while they were translating it, up to the point where the story went on hiatus or something. What a trashy light novel, didn’t realize they were the exact same until I downloaded this. The MC is basically trash, the story is non-existant, and the place it cuts off on is basically just there because the story went on hiatus at that point, it wasn’t even an intentional stopping point. I have low expectations of the story for games, but this actually is word-for-word from a light novel.

  12. "SOON" says:

Kino: Considering it’s Denpasoft who’s translating i would quess late 2019 before we get a release date (and release date will most likely be early 2020). There’s either way absolutely no information on their wepsite or anything that i could find.

problem: is necrophilia love a zombie?

Zombie:(Haitian French: zombi, Haitian Creole: zonbi) is a fictional undead being created through the reanimation of a human corpse.

Necrophilia: known as necrophilism, necrolagnia, necrocoitus, necrochlesis, and thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses.

Corpse: is a dead body, especially of a human being rather than an animal.

ANSWER: Yes love a zombie is necrophilia.

Any Information about the VOl.2 english release?

    @MeMeMe

The TL for this VN is not the same as the novel. Please stop spreading misinformation.

  16. LIGHTDX says:

I don’t like stories divided in episodes, still i like the Z genre so i’ll give it a try.

PS: Sex with a zombie is necrofilia no mater how you put it.

  17. Cliffhanger says:

Don’t download this yet. The ending is the most annoying cliffhanger ive ever seen. Wait until the other parts has been translated.
Quick review: not nearly as bad as i though it would be, a solid 8 i would say. Very interesting and quite a realistic take on surviving in a zombie world, alot of build up with Smart Zombies too. Looking forward to the other parts… that bloody cliffhanger tho…

  18. James Lebron says:

Reads and plays like one of the text-based Dead Frontier games. Good soundtrack which sets the atmosphere for the novel.

  19. annonymus says:

It’s not Necrophilia since Zombie is a living dead. They are technically alive.

  20. MeMeMe says:

Also from what I’ve read the english game TL is a carbon copy of the novel TL. And the original translator dropped the novel after ch.36/vol1.

So for the other volumes Denpa would’ve to actually translate something before the can make money.

Not sure the lazy guys of the Denpa-Sekai-Alliance like that concept.

  21. MeMeMe says:

Too bad the series isn’t finished yet.
The author of the novel is still working on Vol.4, which may or may not be the final volume.
And this game only covers Vol.1.
Vol.0 and Vol.2 to 4+ are going to take their time to reach the western world.
Not much meaning in picking it up now.

  22. Suiko says:

I don’t think this is my kind of game. I haven’t even looked at half the tags and already I know this. But still I’m gonna download it. Why, you ask? For the title alone. “I walk among zombies”. I don’t know, it made me chuckle…

    …I’m weird.

  23. Evangelize says:

Better than I thought it would be. Looking forward to the next part.
