The keyword for this game is dystopia. The game is set in Post-War Japan, yet this Japan is unfamiliar and strange compared to the one we know from history. Journey with the characters as they meet new people and encounter high drama that will forever change them and uncover the mysteries of the world they inhabit.
In this dystopian world, nothing is what it seems. Though the character seem to be in a land of peace and plenty, we quickly discover that nothing could be further away from the truth. Though WAS might appear to be a bishoujo game, we wish to present a brand-new interpretation of the concept.

At first I had qualms about getting this one as it didnt catch my eye, but boy was I surprised. This was such a great game and was again surprised by the sheer number of people who made this. Still its potential is wasted with a convoluted plot which is never really explained plus wtf gimmicks just to give you one heroine in the true end. I REALLY wanted a Rosario (why the need to translate it to Rosary?) route and Nina was the cutest…. Oh well, at least we get interesting characters, art as well as some fine music. Will we ever get to read part 2?…

There’s no english patch. Sekai Project from Japan released the japanese version, western Sekai Project released the English version.

no, it was never “dropped” … and now (5 days ago) finally after 3 (or more?) years Staircase finally released patch that translated almost everything…
and NOW another group has taken over and they will translate remaining part (Miu route). Give or take 2 months for final patch

It’s because the voice acting never was finished. SP canned the project and demanded it be taken off steam, I guess the original JP company didn’t hold their end of the bargain or something?
