seriously though, I am desperately waiting on the next patch.
I nainly play this game for Alice.
I forgot to mention one thing though, it’s possible to combine pt 1 and 2 by copying arc.nsa from pt one’s game folder into the folder of part two and using a selection in the extras menu, allowing you to continue playing past gnome.

Do i just download from this site, do i need to download something from another site first, will the game work on a laptop… I really need a walkthrough on how to properly get this game installed. i have an Acer Laptop with Windows Vista if that helps.

I would imagine our wonderful (Not sarcastic) admin will probably post the game upon 100% completion. The first part of 2 is already up for download but it makes it less complicated to just post it as a whole im sure. It is not far from being completed though.

Yes, i’m posting only 100% translated games on this site. However, there’s 33% patch for MGQ2 out, which I posted on different site of mine, which offers partial translations as well. I’ve added a link to it at the bottom of the post.
It’s actually being done at a pretty brisk pace, considering it’s a one-man job, and the translator is doing it as ahobby in his limited free time

Just run windows on your mac, it’ll make your life infinitely easier when playing pc games. Or, better yet, just get windows.

People crash when they use demon decap? Thats weird, I have no problem with my game thus far. I’m going to play it again to see if I can complete all the ‘medal’ achievements and such as well as monster encyvlopedia. Plus I don’t have all the scenes with Alice. And part 2 is out and for sale i think? But its in jap prob and somewhere it says online that there is an eng patch for 33% of the game translated but i would wait for the entire 100% otherwise it’d be weird to play an eroge with words u can’t read.
I’ve found a 100% patch.
But it said that it was “Machine-Translated”, tryed it out
and was dumbfounded by how horrible it was!! The only part that was correctly translated was the Opening options. Still a great deal of fansubs are working on it, that is for certain! I estimate that within 1 to 1&1/2 Months from now, the Full High Quality Patch will be availible.
Say can you re-upload the part 2 since the filesonic links are no longer available? 😮

Oh My God! I didn’t knew this was reuploaded to MF and RS already! o_o That caught me by surparise! xD I just come here to post how I much liked this game to find it’s already reuploaded. Sadly my PC crashed when I had this installed so I lost it. 😛 Fortunatly I beated the game once (in easy/normal mode, I was planning on replaying it in hard mode when my PC crashed). When I finnish playing Conquering the Queen and/or Katawa Shoujo I’m going to redownload this game. ^^
BTW, I’m not sure if I should download also MGQ2, as since it isn’t fully traslated… Maybe just to play the first 2 or 3 battles or so. 😛 I’m eager to know what happens (though the ending is pretty predictible ¬_¬).

Any news on a fully translated MGS2?
I Checked Rogue Translator’s site and it appears he was on a bus trip for pretty much all of Jan. That delayed his translation progress and he has not yet completed even 66% of game yet. It is a single person translation project so it could take a while longer

So after I patched it with English patch music is gone… Is it just me or it happens when you use English patch?
So I downloaded it but when I extract it it says the arc.nsa file is broken. Anyone know what I could do?
this game has in my opinion one of the best english patches I have ever seen. and an interesting story to boot. defiantly a must play.
Does anyone have any insight into why copying in the patch files causes my game to crash whenever I choose any of the main menu options?
I tried running the clean game, and it worked fine, though I don’t know enough Japanese to really get by.

The text of the error message is different for each menu option, but they all end with the game quitting.
maybe change to japlocale?
besides that u mightve installed it improperly or a file isnt working.
I redownloaded (a third time) and it started working. No idea what the issue was, I was already in JP locale.

They’re both still up, recheck the url and make sure you aren’t copying anything beyond what is actually in it.
So, first time using this site, or playing this genre of games, just to make sure, when we go to extract the various parts, should we extract them all at once, into the same folder, giving it permission to overwrite any like files, should we do each part seperately? Any help would be much appreciated, sorry if it seems like a stupid question.
They are all part of the same archive, the game files that is, the patch is separate. Just open .part1.rar and it will extract 1, 2, and 3. Extract the English patch and follow the readme.txt (though it is just copying the contents over really).

If your looking for Mp3s well I can’t help you. You can check the game folder and play it, copy it to your phone and play it too.

A lot of the grander sounding scores aren’t original. Pomp and Circumstance jumped out at me when I was playing (the march they play at Graduations).

You need to download all 3 parts before extracting.
