Baldr Force (Standard Edition)

As a hacker of the renowned hacking group “Steppenwolf”, Tooru Souma and his partners earn their living by hacking into servers and selling the information they steal.

As the last hacking before disbanding their group, they hacked into a military server, but soon they find this is a setup by the military to lure terrorists, and they were drawn into battle between two factions. At the end, one of Tooru Souma’s friends was killed by an unknown Simulacrum, while most of other group members have been arrested. To investigate and avenge his friend’s death, Tooru Souma accepted the offer to join the military.

I wonder why Baldr Force is uploaded here and Baldr Sky is not.

Windows will close this program, and if there is a known way to fix the problem, notify you about it.” – this message popped up in the second chapter. Anybody know, how to solve this problem? Or have save files (so I can jump to the first choice)?

Get that chuuni piece of shit out of here, trying to make use of unusual, or made up words, to make the object seem to have so much more depth. I was even prepared for the description to start dumping unnecessary exposition as to what “[[SIMULACRUM]]” is in-context.

That’s already a very good reason not to touch a story.

  To be fair “Simulacrums” have a unique usage in the Baldr series which differs from the normal meaning and requires an explanation.
  
  The problem with the guy is that he’s an idiot that seems to think using fictional terms in fictional writing is somehow strange or unusual.

For the black screen problem after searching a bit in the net(dam there is no one speaking about this problem…) is seems that the game is not compatible with surround sound 5.1, configure you ouput to be estereo and restart the computer, if that not work idk what could be the problem

this crashes after the first bit of dialog at what I assume is the first bit of gameplay loading…. any guesses on a fix?

Confirmed, looked up the HCG and the adult version does contain scat if the tags are not mistaken there. VNDB also states that it has NTR, so you don’t want the 18+ edition.

Umm, according to VNDB, scat is one of the tags for sexual content. Can anyone confirm this?

I also have black screen issues… Windows 8.1 PC here.

Even though this is an all ages game, at least I can understand the story, even though I can guess what’s happening from the synopsis and when I played this on PS2 years ago, not to mention some of us -including myself- been waiting this for some time.

‘Standard Edition’ is a port of the PS2 version with improved GFX, new OP, new music etc. Probably was easier for them to port that version rather than fix up code from 2002 to run on modern platforms.

That being said I wonder if its possible for hackers to add back the adult scenes into this version like was done for Eiyuu Senki…
