I installed ALL 3 PATCHES, and the game works in jap. but the english patch still don’t finde the game. any ideas?

Only thing i can think of that would cause it is if you changed the default path of the game or you didn’t copy the english patch to the game folder before running it. Other then that, no idea why it would not locate it.
I get the same problem with the english patch. It just seems to skip over the game’s directory.
It also seems to make the executable unable to even launch the game after you attempt to use the english patch. I’ve installed and reinstalled it around a dozen times and no difference in anything.
If anyone has found a way past this or can get the translated files from the patch, it would be very appreciated if shared.

i think quiete a few people are stuck at chapter 4, anyone know how to advance, last main quest is to find a substitute for the shells of that big monster, no quests/events appear.

well.. i u wanna cheat… there`s a way… but… i dont know if u wanna try it… u need the program SpoilerAL and this file “http://www.necocan.info/supb2/x/upfile/10442.zip” (is a SSG file) … and look for a “how to use SpoilerAL” on google is easy .. the only little trouble is both, the program and the file are in JAP, soo u need the “how to”. But google is your friend… open the SSG file with notepad (with ur windows on jap setting) and copy/paste on google translator or babelfish.. Note: Use the translatio of the file only for reference because the translated file wont work on SpoilerAL.

How do I get past the river in sunlit valley (I think I forgot what it’s called) I already searched whole map (98% cleared) just the spot across rive what do I do ( this is like the second mission to get something for the bar guy’s drink)
There are certain parts of certain areas that require special skills to get by them. In order to cross a river, I believe you will either need a character with the ability to dive or fly. If none of you characters have either of those abilities yet, you’ll have to come back later.

you meet the undine character in one of the levels,
continue with her quests until she joins your party – she can cross the river

They’re in the Dijnal Borderlands once they become available, you need to clear an event with a Gundehound pup (might’ve spelled it wrong.) and once you are in the lair of the pup, you should be able to find a mining spot to find the Electric bones.
Does this mean you’ve passed chapter 4? if so how?

I’m not sure how to do that, aside from getting the Starfall ore from the Rock Turtle nest in the Armurent forest, but I think you need to research the different elements. (The fox Uya is fire, the Undine is water, the Angel is Holy, Sharti is Dark, ect.)And maybe raise your synthezing skill.

the quest i’m stuck on is 64+65 where i’m supposed to research about the giant water creature Elkaren and find a substitute for a shell

You have to send the people in by yourself.
I guess you’ve gone that far without know that you can deploy people from the party screen.
In fact people are deployed from the party section to the deploy section, problem is, there is no available space in the deploy screen so nothing happens when clicking on a character to deploy
Ok.
* Install game
* Change the Japanese folder text to Kamidori Alchemy Meister in the Eushully folder on your hard drive
* Drag and Install the three patches into that folder – (This may also make a sub folder in the Eushully folder it will appear in Japanese text.Drag the the contents of that folder into the Kamidori Alchemy Meister folder)
* Then drag and install the Kamidori English 1_0 patch in the Kamidori Alchemy Meister folder.
Hope that helps anyone cause it have the problems I was having.
anyone have any tips for the stage where you need to get the fire stones or whatever they are called from the stage with the giants and you are not allowed to battle them or its automatic loss?

Everything installed correctly for me so here’s a guide with exactly what I had done to install the game.

(NOTE: Before installing Kamidori, change your system locale to Japanese. To do this in Windows 7, Open the control panel and set the view by to category. Click “Clock, language, and region”. Click “Region and Language” and then click on the administrative tab. There will be a button that says “Change system local”. Click on that and scroll down until you find “Japanese (Japan)”. Set it to that and apply settings. You will need to restart your computer afterwards.)
STEP1- Extract the game download. Run KAMIDORI.mds in a virtual drive program such as Daemon Tools Lite. Follow the installation and make no changes to the default installation location.
STEP2- After the setup has finished extract the patches. Run each .exe file in this order:
kami_ap01
kami_ap02
kami_200
If you have not accidentally changed the default installation location from step 1, then the patches will have installed correctly.
STEP3- Extract the English patch. Copy the Kamidori English 1_0.exe file into the installed games folder. The default location is:
(C:)ProgramFiles(x86)/Eushully/神採りアルケミーマイスター
After placing the .exe file in the installed game folder, run it.
Congratulaions. You have (hopefully) successfuly installed Kamidori onto your computer.

great step by step, that is really all there is to it. Just make sure you have enough space on your hard drive and if you REALLY want to be careful then restart your computer BEFORE installing (to clear out your RAM since there is a small chance bad RAM can cause a bug in your install). Although if you had to switch your region settings then you would have needed to have restarted anyways; but for those of us that leave it on Japanese all the time it might be worth noting.
I normally don’t bother restarting for my installs, but I suppose it never hurts to mention an optional restart. I’ll include that as a note next time I make an installation guide.

Forgot to add that you have to change the folder name to Kamidori Alchemy Meister, I followed your instructions but without this step the english patch couldn’t find the game.

i installed @ program files and everything went smoothly except my save files all went missing, and if i changed the directory then it always crash and my save files still went missing
The best I can do is tell you where the game saves to.
On XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Eushully\神採りアルケミーマイスター\SAVE\
On Vista & 7:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Eushully\神採りアルケミーマイスター\SAVE\
My guess is that there was some sort of error during installation, but I haven’t run into any problems so I can’t be sure. It can’t hurt to try a re-installation.
I used the default file location without renaming anything. It isn’t necessary to rename anything or else my installation wouldn’t have been successful. I installed the game exactly as I showed in the guide. Outside of that I have no idea what would be causing any problems.
how do i say it… now that i re-installed with the default settings, the patch couldn’t find the game, even when put on the game folder, and there’s only “SYS4REG” in the folder you mentioned, is that it? i doubt it…
i take what i said earlier, i haven’t patched all, only 2 out of 3, so that’s why the eng patch didn’t find my game earlier. but the save game thing still exist…

Here’s additional notes to my guide.
After you install and patch successfully, the name of the folder can be changed however you like, so never worry about the folder’s default location being something you don’t like.
Always remember to close unnecessary processes and programs in the task manager. Games tend to eat up high amounts of memory which won’t be a problem if you have enough to spare.
Turn off your antivirus or put it into a silent mode before playing a game. Antiviruses can screw with a running game and cause some minor errors. If you’re having minor problems then your antivirus may be the cause.

I get an error saying unexpected archive and it fails to take anything out.
Sounds like one of the .rar files got corrupted during download. It happens every now and then. Just try extracting it again and make note of what file it is on when the archive ends. Then simply re-download that part.
its every file actually, it then says extract from another volume and it says error aswell.
Repair it or re-download every corrupt parts

And i know i’ve asked a lot but do you have any idea what really needs to be done to get past chapter 4? do i have to complete a certain number of character quests? because i cannot seem to be able to do the main questline (researching big water creature -Q64)
for the big water creature quest, it can’t be done in ch 4. advance to next ch and you can see the continuation of the quest.

I need help on accessing certain routes, I have tried 3 times to get into Yuella’s route by recruiting the fox, the angel and getting the option to watch her, but every time I enter chapter 4, it’s Emillita’s route.
First time, recruited everything, same with second time to see if I can get a way into it.
Third time, I found how to get into her route, did everything but I still turn to Emillita’s route in Chapter 4. (do not want to beat reaper for the 4th time in another playthrough…)
I’m honestly baffled right now.
You need to get her measurements as well by getting access to one of her armor pieces.

Anybody solve the crashing after selecting new game? I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times now. Following the install guide posted above somewhere perfectly every time. It is so frustrating to be so close but to be unable to play. The Arc Game Engine keeps shutting down whatever that is.

Yes, i had the same problem…for me it was something trivial ^^ please check if ur language setting for non-unicode programms is japanese.
That should do the trick. ( you will find it in language / region settings -> advanced . needs restart after )

Ok now for 1 minor problem of myself:
I’d like to play the game on my “old” laptop, the game installs fine, intro is fine, but the Graphics of non-motion-pictures are messed up completely.
( main-menu is still good -> after clicking “new game” a total blur -> when clicking “begin” and the story starts its all well again. Status Screen is messed up too )
Some1 knows what might be the cause of this?
If it’s your “old” laptop then it might be a simple specs problem. Look up the game requirements. If it is in fact a hardware issue then it’s most likely due to an outdated graphics or not enough memory.

I’ll go first. I’m at chapter 4 after receiving the quest to replace the shells. I’m at synth. rank b, I’ve fully leveled my workshop, garden, and room, I’m sitting on 116k Santoeril. I have recruited Aht, Suina, Crayl, Sharty, Uya, and Melidiana.
Also, does anyone know how to get a Fish Scale? I’m trying to get past chapter 4 (like a lot of others are) and I want to check if forging all of the clothing this far will do anything. Alternatively, can anyone tell me if they have already made the clothing, and if so, what, if any effects were seen?
So far i’ve made 3 outfits for Yuela, 2 for Emelita and 1 for Servalwi

For fish scale – it’s probably a drop you get from killing a monster, most likely a water creature so try ‘Yuma lake’ stages
I, too made it rank a, crafted 3 armors for Yuela (earth, fire and darkness), 2 for emelita (ice and elemental), and 1 for Serawi (wind).

I think to get past chapter 4 you have to level up the main heroines up to a certain level – i just got to chapter 5 and it was cause i levelled up Emilita to level 17 and did her quest, probably because i’m on her route now (even though i didn’t want to be)
I have no idea if i can go into another character’s route if i’m already in one, i want to do Yuela’s but don’t want to start the game again since i’ve already put about 20 hours into this
