Kensuke trained hard every day under the tutelage of his uncle Kazuto. One day, when he held a sword he found in the storehouse, he lost consciousness. When he came to, he found himself in a place he did not recognize. He met a girl who introduced herself as Oda Saburou Kuon Nobunaga. She held out her hand to a stunned Kensuke and asked him to become her husband and accompany her on the road to national supremacy.
They travelled across the country, racking up victories in this period of social upheaval. However, there was one enemy they could not defeat: the oni. These man-eating, blood-drinking beasts soon took over all of Japan, plunging the country into hell. However, Kuon and Kensuke vowed to continue fighting, issuing a written appeal to all the influential lords: “Samurai who are not afraid of even the oni, gather under me and let us save Japan together!”

Did you install some other version/partial patch from different site, by any chance?
Some leftover files in UserData/Registry might mess it up.

Unfortunately, still getting the same “The game is not installed correctly, please reinstall” error with a fresh download of the files. Cri.
This is my first time downloading it at all. Unfortunately whatever seems to be the issue is still around, I also get the boot error that requests a reinstall.
Thank God I’m not the only one then. I was going down rabbit holes trying to figure out what the issue was after the re-uploaded files ranging from removing files from the registry and purging anything related to BaseSon. Only thing I haven’t tried at this point is a fresh install of Windows which is not something I’m willing to do for a single game 🙁
The game actually looks pretty nice and the vndb scores are decent aswell, Im hoping whatever the issue is gets found because it would be a shame not to play this.
I suspect that there is a registry issue, as I had the same issue as everyone else, but when I did a fresh install of the Japanese version via disk image and applied the English patch manually, it worked with no problems. Admin, maybe consider uploading the disk images and patch file and let people do it the old fashioned way?

Yeah, I figured that was the issue. Admin got it to work on a clean install of Windows, but not an avenue I’m willing to explore at this time.
If the only way to play this game is a clean windows install that would be such a fkin shame.
