VenusBlood -Hollow-

In ancient times, the Holy Land of Helvetia flourished under the goddess Elnath’s protection. Then the demons came—pouring out from the land below, overrunning the holy land and defeating the goddess through violent war—bringing about an age of darkness. The humans who once lived peacefully under the goddess’ protection are now ruled over by the four demon queens, known as the Dark Lords. Any humans deemed worthless have their souls farmed to create Tactica, a crystalline object used as a material for weapons and as fuel. However, a new conflict arises as rumors of Empress Karvia’s plans to take over all of Helvetia spread, causing the other three Dark Lords to simultaneously declare war on the Empire. Despite being surrounded on all sides, Empress Karvia remains confident that she will prevail. After all, she has a secret task force under her command, one that served her well in the war against the goddess: The “Black Arme Vapula,” led by the war hero Leonhardt Arknoah.

  1. Funny how one of the lines state that his D is “thicker than an orc’s arm” and yet the art that followed showed that it’s only like as wide as two to three of his fingers. Orcs in that world must be tiny. XD

  2. Anyone have a guide to get all the scenes?

I’ve played through Chaos and Law route once each (presumably ending for each character in each one)… are there more endings? How do I get Anora ending?

  3. Is there any sort of guide as to the requirements of the endings?

I don’t need a step by step guideif there isn’t one. Just the requirements are enough and I can figure things out on my own.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Each of the heroines gets an ending if you finish their events on that respective route (corruption on chaos and I’m guessing affection/likeability on law – these points unlock the next scene). The last scene is always the one where you get to choose a title for that character.

Almost all the characters are straight forward – where you raise their points will be obvious, as they appear in their respective events.

The trickiest is the True end for Anora… there will be choices in the main story but also at least one in another character’s event that’s not obvious at first. If you want to figure where these are yourself, you will have to save and reload at points where choices that may or may not affect Anora’s points. I’m not sure if you need to get all of them or enough to get the true end. You will know if you unlock this end if you are presented with a choice near the end of the story.

It’s not clear to me whether or not Noel needs to be prioritized in some choices where you are forced between her and Anora. It may be forgiving enough, but you will be locked out of Noel’s ending if you end up only prioritizing Anora in those choices.

I was able to get a load with both True Law (Anora end) and Noel’s end unlocked.

I haven’t gotten to True Chaos Anora end yet… if it exists anyway.

      1. For the individual heroine endings, I assume it’s like VB Frontier where we can pick which heroine’s ending we see at the end? As in, I can just save and reload at a certain point to see all the ones I qualify for?

          1. Ok, that makes that part easier then.

I should be able to figure out the others relatively easily enough assuming none of them have some super strict requirements.

            Thanks.

  4. Anyone figure out the conditions to enter the new Iris scenario? I got Alioth’s just by playing through the law route. Also still missing some new scenes, like both of Anora’s.

    1. In Alioth scenario choose “I will award her with my strength” instead of “I want to make Anora happy”. This will trigger Fallen Angel Luseli scene
You have to awakened all dark lord. Awakened not altered.
Choose “Sacrifice people of each nation” during “The selection of Sacrifice”
Choose “These Lovable women” during the final night.

    1. manga ppl like anti-hero. in eroge ppl like rapist or a douche protag.
Majikoi, Rance, Rance 2, Rance 3, Rance 4, Rance 5, Rance infinity.

Idk how but Publisher think the market now hates generic like normal Slice of life. Market likes it more unusual fetish, rapist, marchen and so on

      1. You gotta admit, It’s hard to hate a protagonist that says “fuck the greater good” and just does whatever they wanna do instead.

      2. How is Yamato from Majikoi a douche or a rapist? I’ve played upto A3 and I don’t remember anything like that. Rance I can understand but why Yamato?

        1. For example in the route of chris in the first game in order to conquer her, he is rather agresive and their first time is boderline rape.

        2. as Feli says. but Yamato is not that bad and quite good because he is not naive. Just saying in Chris Route it is borderline Rape and mind break, lol

      3. Yeah pretty much. I think people have mostly gotten tired of Slice of life in my experience unless they really trust the company to do it well or it has a unusual premise to the slice of life. Most of the eroge gamers I’ve ran into tend to go for the more extreme stuff because it tends to have plot beats that are more unusual compared to most of the mainstream stuff you can find. Though this can of course vary on the person and the company given how many people I find who still love Clannad even while disliking most slice of life.

        1. nope, they’re trolling you. You think how big is Non non biyori watcher but Full Metal Alchemist stay on the top on Myanimelist? if you know how Full Metal Alchemist stay on the top then you know it just the personality of the fans.

        2. Yes it’s just like that. like normal Moege, or Funbag Fantasy or Smee works. It is very well received even tho no Dark Hero or Anti Hero Protag. Basically a lot of people commenting on manga saying they hate harem but they arrived at chapter 200+. Very Tsundere, lol

Personally i think Grisaia, Rance, or Taimanin fans is just a jerk trying to be Elitis in VN, like those KNY or Squid Game fans but not that far because we’re at the core united by the smeagol the precious of the horny

          1. Oh, I’m fully willing to admit that games like that are still popular. I’m mostly commenting on people I’ve met in real life and online tend to dislike most slice of life Visual novels outside of stand outs like Clannad and the likes. That may not correlate to how well a game sells because of other factors like average personality difference between players of different eroge game genres. I’m just commenting there on the uptick in people interested in darker protagonists.

I also wouldn’t think too much on the full metal alchemist thing. Simply because most eroge fans are anime fans but the inverse isn’t true. The vast majority of mainstream anime watchers in the west likely haven’t ever touched a visual novel before.

          2. CuteWaifu, not sure about that. i have one game that popular in the West “Doki Doki Literature”.

Well basically SoL enjoyer just silent enjoyer and Dark VNs enjoyer have more outgoing? or more like to discuss things? something like that

  5. I have a problem with the game, whatever I do I can´´t seem to save, anyone knows how to fix it?.. It always shows some weird Japanese text if I attempt to save.

    1. Usually it means you put the game in privileged directory and Windows is blocking creation of save files. Move the game to for example “Desktop” or “My Documents” folder, or run it as administrator (one of options when you right-click on game .exe).

  6. The interface in these VB games always looks so BUSY, can someone give me a rundown on the gameplay? Is there a difficulty setting?

    1. It’s literally the first choice when starting a new game. For the rest, it is better to just go through the tutorial.
