base on summary, I guess its gameplay is same as Warrior Raidy, but main character is an underage boy.

I don't really like game with H-scenes like this. Just my opinion though

This game was surprisingly good.
The combat was surprisingly fun (for me at least).
The loli-monsters were cute as hell.
There were loli-monsters.
There's actually some semblance of a story.

Just try not to lose to some of the less... err, 'attractive' monsters... some are kinda freaky. xD

Oh, this is the first of 3 planned games by the way so there isn't a real conclusion to the story as of yet... which saddens me... not that most people might care. :P

when i extract the files of the first rar it says that MonsterGirlQuest\bgm\sitenno.ogg is corrupted and can't be opened.
So it does not work.

Does anybody else's game freeze when a certain monster uses "Aqua Pentagram"? I've tried setting the text speed to its fastest and slowest and no matter what I do, my game always freezes when "Aqua Pentagram" is used. T.T

You can only save at designated "Save Locations". These Save Locations will have wider-spaced text and will only say "Save Location" in the text box. These occur before and after battles, before an H-scene, in the middle of long story sequences, and before you decide where to go next after clearing an area.

just finish it. quite satisfying, with okay story line.
And... it won't be cool if you get raped by some monsters, some are hot that's fine. but some just gross.

I don't like that game for three reasons:

-Graphics/arts aren't really attractive
-I don't think the story is really original/interesting
-Censored

I'm having trouble downloading this game...file 3 always comes up short a few mb's....it's really frustrating.

I seem to be stuck in the town after the library burns down. It says that i can look around for some information,but i've already talked to every npc and it the leave button is still greyed out.

My gosh, my favorite part is the fight against Nanabi and the Kraken Queen. I thought I was going to lose when all of sudden Luka just goes insane. It would be cool if you can control Luka with those skills.

HAve to admit, some of those mosnters were really sexy. I wouldn't mind being their mate. Especially taht Twin-tailled Kitsune whom you get to marry XD.
And Alice definitely should be a God to worship, not Illias.

Ok, I have no idea how to play this game. I've got every file downloaded but whenever I try to extract the files it asks me to put in the disc of the next part. I can't mount a .rar file with daemon tools can I? Can someone please help me by going through the steps of how they opened and installed these files?

This game could not ever be made without knowing the basics of a rpg... Even thougt, it's more like it's already choosen the real path to win any battle. It won't depend on your level. It will depend on how you battle. It's real fun, but it has a couple of predictable things.
Shota, tentacles on male, assertive, blowjob, any tail becoming some tube to suck sperm, are the main carasteristics on this eroge.

Ha, anyone else notice that the background music once you hit the desert is a medley of Touhou themes? It kicks off with a note-for-note copy of 'Lullaby of a Deserted Hell', and throws a few more in there in case it wasn't already obvious enough.

I can't tell if it's supposed to be a shout-out or just a blatant rip-off.

Opens the game and nothing turns on.

Then when I double blick again I get an error in japanese. I then look in Task Manager and it says it's running but I have no way to see it it's not listed as a program that is running by using alt tab or the bottom bar. Is their a step to run it I'm missing?

I have the same problem as Machcia, game just freezes every time the Kraken Queen tries to use Aqua Pentagram. I've installed a ton of different codecs and renamed files and it still won't play. I can view the video file fine in vlc player but the game just cannot open it

Good rpg game. Very kinky but only has voices for a handful of characters out of like 50 and they are only voiced in the ero scenes. This game is also incomplete and seems to be divided into "chapters". Waiting for chapter 2.

The game was made by a pretty small team so of course they couldn't afford voices for all the monsters in the game.

I wonder who beat up Alice in the first place? The Goddess was absent at that point in time, so it seems suspicious, but also the fourth Knight does not make an appearance, unlike Tamamo, Arumaeruma, and Granberia.

The Dude in the game is to YOUNG for the hero that YOU have to play and with with his eyes uncovered (most eroges main characters face usually doesn't shows to give the players some pride and at least makes them feel like its actually they're the character). And another thing, Half of the H-scene make me feel awkward. It's like I'm a freakin' GAY looking at some guy caught with his penis dangling around then suddenly ejaculates and gets rape on the anal( WHAT THE F*** !! ).

Yes, There is To Heart 2: Final Dragon Chronicles on PC, and To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers, that is a port of the first one on PSP, with some changes. The two are in japanese only.

For the come in 1 turn achievement Just attack the mimic on the first turn and it will insta eat you.

You can get the "Come in One Turn" achievement also by fighting Tamamo. To fight her, you have to accept the Poseidon's Bell, then choose to fight her. She will utterly annihilate you instantly (she hits you for 300+ damage 9 times in a single turn). Also, the Mimic can kill you in one turn if you attack her when her chest is open.

To get Ilias' Monster Encyclopedia entry, you have to lose more than 15 times in a single play through and select "Evaluation".
After 15 evaluations, Ilias gets pissed off and 'punishes' you in a way only suitable to this game.

Whoa, talk about a well done game. Heavily anticipating the sequel. There were dozens of monsters that were of animals I couldn't even imagine looking attractive.

Not particularly big on loli either, such as the scene early on with the band of kid bandits. Although I did enjoy some of it where they may look loli (usually only the face) but the way the delivery was handled, it set the mood perfectly.

Normally I would judge anything that H-related because you forgive it because of the territory. This was made quite well considering.

PS. The best encounter I think there is probably isn't even in the first part. The succubus in the trial of part 2 is perhaps loli (weirdly it's presented as if she older) but it's the best fight I've played.
Hope there is more succubus in that part ;P

I seem to be having trouble... understanding... this english patch. Everything worked smoothly, I've even gone through the game once already. However I cannot understand a lick of what's happening or going on. Everything in game aside from a few rogue words are this weird jumble that I can only descirbe as "cursed email speak". Is this how it is or did I copy something wrong- I don't know.

This game is very intriguing and highly enjoyable. The H-scenes mostly suck except for the ones by Alice but the plot is interesting and the comedy is funny and cute. Hope 2nd part comes soon cause it is just too amusing. Love the ghost part :D.

Normally I don't play text-based adventures, stories are usually slow, guy tries to woo girl, etc. etc. Since the dawn of hentai the guy was always the dominant one, it got to be cliche pretty quickly, that's why I really enjoyed this game.

For a while I would sometimes look up Monster_Girl tags from Gelbooru. The Monster Girl Encyclopedia were always good reads. I was pretty happy when I heard this was even made.

This game is so amazing. It is the 1st H-Game that i found enjoyable without needing the H-scenes. The H-scenes are generally bad except for Alice and some monsters but the plot is amazingly done and full of humor. I particularly like how Luka has such a dark past, the phobia of Alice and the mystery surrounding Goddess Ilias. Hurry up Part 2!!! I say.

I have played this game so much. The art is debatable, im fine with what it is though. Aiming for 100% completion. Best H-Game ever and great story. I am looking forward to the 2nd Chapter. Losing gets quite torturous as the monsters do not let you stop ejaculating, and there's so much text that I got sick of it and decided to never lose again, since I was interested more in Alice and the story.

Alice's voice as well as the other female voices sounded rather deep, I think if she had C.C.'s (Code Geass) voice that would be the sexiest snake/girl/heroine ever. Plus it was kinda cliche and obvious who she was considering she said that she got bruised from a big fight from a girl, like, the flash game Level Up! lol

In any case I thoroughly enjoyed this and was getting worried that I wouldn't have enough save files. I seriously wonder how much space this'll take up. The conversations w/ other people were very amusing/humorous/entertaining that I decided to save at those points as well. It seems there are quite a handful of lamias in here......

yes the art gets less as you go but what really got to me was that the story stops halfway through the middle, that made me sad i would like to see an end to this game

I think Monster Girl 2 is already out in Japan. A site I visited posted the game's CG pics. Not 100% sure though, but it seemed a lot(about 720 pics).

Anyway, I downloaded this game cuz the artist(Kenkou Kurosu/Kenkou Cross) who drew Alice is my favorite monster girl artist. I think the other two were "Frfr"(Sylph, Gnome, Undine & Salamander's artist) and "Un Do"(The zombie girls artist). I think there was one more but I forgot.

I can't wait for the second part. And from what I've heard, there's probably a third one. So expect another cliffhanger :D

May someone please assist me with fixing a system error I am experiencing? While playing I get an error message that forces me to quite the game and prevent me from making any more progress. This error occurs just as I am about to face the dragon of the 4 bandits. It is partially written in Japanese but I can copy some of the error message here.

Anyone know where I can download part 2 of this? That link leads to where it can be, but since Rapid Share's changed, I can't get it anymore. Reached the end of part 1 and I'd love to continue.

People crash when they use demon decap? Thats weird, I have no problem with my game thus far. I'm going to play it again to see if I can complete all the 'medal' achievements and such as well as monster encyvlopedia. Plus I don't have all the scenes with Alice. And part 2 is out and for sale i think? But its in jap prob and somewhere it says online that there is an eng patch for 33% of the game translated but i would wait for the entire 100% otherwise it'd be weird to play an eroge with words u can't read.

I've found a 100% patch.
But it said that it was "Machine-Translated", tryed it out
and was dumbfounded by how horrible it was!! The only part that was correctly translated was the Opening options. Still a great deal of fansubs are working on it, that is for certain! I estimate that within 1 to 1&1/2 Months from now, the Full High Quality Patch will be availible.

Say can you re-upload the part 2 since the filesonic links are no longer available? :o

Oh My God! I didn't knew this was reuploaded to MF and RS already! o_o That caught me by surparise! xD I just come here to post how I much liked this game to find it's already reuploaded. Sadly my PC crashed when I had this installed so I lost it. :P Fortunatly I beated the game once (in easy/normal mode, I was planning on replaying it in hard mode when my PC crashed). When I finnish playing Conquering the Queen and/or Katawa Shoujo I'm going to redownload this game. ^^

BTW, I'm not sure if I should download also MGQ2, as since it isn't fully traslated... Maybe just to play the first 2 or 3 battles or so. :P I'm eager to know what happens (though the ending is pretty predictible ¬_¬).

this game has in my opinion one of the best english patches I have ever seen. and an interesting story to boot. defiantly a must play.

Does anyone have any insight into why copying in the patch files causes my game to crash whenever I choose any of the main menu options?

I tried running the clean game, and it worked fine, though I don't know enough Japanese to really get by.

Hey! Ive got the game running with applocale, however my english patch only appears to be partly working... For example; the options in configuration, and the main menu, are in english, however when beginning a new game, everything is back in japanese! Anyone else encountered this? Fixed it was a extraction problem

I actually figured out how to save anywhere on monster girl quest, and it works on mine. if you play in the windowed screen and press save, you get your save data screen, choose any. after you get the screen that reads "dont change the text" press save at least once and youll get an error, since the small window has no close button, dont panic. make sure the game is the current window open and press ESC. it should work, if it doesnt, it must be just my luck. tell me if it works

I downloaded the game, installed patch, changed locale to Japanese. The game text is still in Japanese. I don't know what's wrong, i think it has to do with the extraction in

I downloaded the game, installed patch, changed locale to Japanese. The game text is still in Japanese. I don’t know what’s wrong, i think it has to do with the extraction in
WinRAR, it won’t let me extract ANY file in the MonsterGirlQuest.part1.rar though, I followed all the instructions in the readme.txt.

Pleash Reupload the english patch, when you're going to download it say's that server is not found.

-Winrar auto connects all 3 files as long as you downloaded them to the same place.

-The launched is called mon_que

-Part 2 of the game is a different game all together so you have to download Monster Girl 2 to continue the story.

-You can play this without changing your locale from what I'm aware of.

part 2 is not working because its missing alot of files. despite it having the same MB as part 1 (199.3 MB), arc.nsa was only file i could extract and it was a broken file.

Steps: extract the game WITHOUT the patch as if u wanted to play in in Japanese,
drag the patch into the file till u see the game(mon_que.exe or something like that)
Extract the patch using extract here. do not extract everything together just the patch

I can do all the stuff to where I extract part 1. I read the readme in the patch file. It tells me that I need to extract the patch into the part 1 folder, but everytime I click on the mon_que.exe to play it I get some little window with Japanese text in it and then on a second line is says:

When I launched the game with the english patch it caused the game to be badly off centered. All I could see on the screen was the upper left of the game. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It did not do this prior to the patch.

I succesfully extracted and started the game. However after opening the game and playing it after two selection screens the programs ends after i tried to move to the next page of text.

When downloading there came a consistent error saying that one of the files was corrupted. I've tried playing and I can't get past the intro without an error popping up saying that it's incomplete. I've downloaded everything, but it still won't work. Any suggestions?

The first thing you can do is to download the files and then extract them into a folder with a specific extraction order. Mine was to extract the game files in this order:

Part 3 then part 1 trough 3

Then I started the game before installing the English patch and played the start with Ilias slowly (letting every word appear completely in the text box) until I got the error message. Then I shut the game down and extracted the English patch into the game directory(map) I then started the game and pressed "new game" button and went trough the Ilias part slowly letting each line finish before going to the next "page" and when I came into the village I could skip all the text and just rage click on the text and go to the next "page"

So this is really frustrating, but my game absolutely will not save. And I am only trying to save at the "save location"s but even then it does not work. It says save confirmation, I hit yes, then a line of random characters and symbols that says do not change the text in this line, I hit yes again, and it looks like the game saves but there is no change to the save slot and I am not able to load from that save slot.

Its just like the game saves but doesn't actually create the save file. Please help :(

I finally managed to get the game to work on my Mac using VMware Fusion & RyonaniXP. I made it up to the Dragon Pup and right after the line "I knew it. i extracted all three files to the same folder then put the English patch in and replaced all the files but when i beat gnome it says thats the end of part 1 I have tried extracting them to separate files and putting in the patch but whenever i open a file its always part 1 how do i get to part 2?(i downloaded the 3 part files)

So, like many others, I'm having a problem. I replaced everything (except the application) in Part 1 with the English patch. It runs okay, the title and the options (new, load, configure, extras, quit) being all in English. Guys are you new to the Internet? Its so simple
just download part 1, 2, and 3 then download the English patch.
Now you go to Destop, create a folder (MGQ1), then extract all the 3 in this folder. Then you extract the language patch in a new folder (patch), go in the folder and copy all files, go back to MGQ1 and paste it in there. Now you can push the .exe and have fun.
I hope it will help and sorry for my fucking horrible english.

OK so I think I found the problem about why you can only play \part 1\.

There are 3 chapters to the story, everything you download here is chapter 1, so once you beat gnome, that's it.

Monster Girl Quest 2 is not a new game, it is in fact the second part of the story. You've gotta download everything there like you did in part 1. It has a different English patch too.

I have a problem where all my saves suddenly disappeared. The files are still in the save folder, all 53 of em, but when I go to the load screen they just show up as empty save slots. Please help. I really want to get through the game to part 2.

I've been having some difficulties with the game loading section. When i click on the load button it shows the regular save file screen but it endsup scrolling all the way down and even with the english translator installed, there are still some japanese sign left for the names of these saves. I also have trouble finding part 2, because every time i open the game it says part 1. If any of you guys could help me sort this out it would be very much appreciated!

You will probably figured it out by now, but for someone with the same question: You use Left-Click to \Pick\ things, so you use Right-Click to \Cancel\ things.

Although the readme for the English patch says to replace everything in the original Japanese game with the patch contents, DO NOT DO THIS!!! After dealing with the same problem as Koala and mc (review the comment section), I troubleshooted for a good 10 minutes before stumbling across an easy fix:

1. After extracting the contents of the English patch, copy and paste the contents (NOT THE FOLDER ITSELF) of the "system" folder into the "system" folder of the original Japanese game. Replace whatever it prompts you to.

2. Copy and paste the rest of the English patch (MINUS THE "SYSTEM" FOLDER) into the original Japanese game. Replace whatever it prompts you to.

3. Start up the game, and it should run fine (except for the text wrapping).


As my username suggests, I'm running this on a Mac (MacBook Pro using CrossOver Games, to be precise), so this method may not work for you. If it does work, feel free to give me praise, cash, etc.

*IMPORTANT* If useing DA-free(3 Part DL) you must use Winrar as not all of the arc.nsa file data is in one part of the Download as if you use 7-zip you will most likely get the message saying broken arc.nsa file because 7-zip cannot seem to combine the file before it is moved.


** Good Tip you can save anywhere in the game, when on the save menu click save it will come up with a error message ignore it lick the button then after that you will see a new message just lick the [Esc] button and it will save and then you can carry on playing like normal (this method works on MGQ 1 and MGQ 2) ive done 100% of both the game from this site and had no problems.

some of the bonus story's have problems but there mostly simple to fix if you can be asked as you have access to the configuration setting file's that are in the mod file as most of the problems are minor e.g.(missing character name, to much text, it can't load picture or audio because it can't access it) some are totally missing files needed to play them.

um i having an issue because when i got the part when im vs Nanabi and im under her hypnosis and after awhile i use the attack Ninefold Rakshasa and after i use that attack she then uses Two Moons then the game crashes can you help me resolve this problem

you guys suck at explaining how to extract files ... you need to add a detailed explanation for people who have no clue what they're doing. I saw 'just download and extract then done' 'just do this' not everyone understands how to extract a freaking file.. sorry if i'm raging but i'm sick of all the people just giving brief explanations that don't make sense. Please add a detailed explanation on how to just extract passed the downloading.. My problem is i'm an idiot and have no clue how to work a computer unless it's used in basic terms. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to extract to a specific file, i get the download.. click it, extract with 7zip to 'monsterGirlQuest/' then get 'CRC failed' and arc.nsa file broken, then do what someone else said and make my own file in downloads and then repeat my 7zip extraction and get files with some weird symbol in between them -.-. So then i type in my specific file and it doesn't go.. Then i drag the extract to my specific folder, and click 'extract here' and get the same CRC failed, arc.nsa message.. someone help please >.<

Alright, I have downloaded the game and added the patch. I did this using 7-zip. There is only one, rather enormous problem:

I cannot open the mon_que.exe file.

As you can imagine, this makes it impossible for me to even play the game, much less find out what other files I need to fix. If it helps, my computer isn't set to a Japanese locale. Would that fix it? If not, what can?

These instructions are the kind of thing that needs to be a public message here. Anyway, I followed these instructions and it seemed to work. The game is playable, no bugs, translated and everything. However once I finished part 1, I have no idea how to actually start part 2 at all. Imported or not.

I had this game running before when i got a copy from a friend but i lost the data, i am trying to get it on my laptop now but the download for part 2 is just giving me a arc.nsa file. While the other files give me he .exe and other files. Why is this?

Well, now that I've had my turn and troubles, I have a message for those who are supposedly having trouble with part 2, etc.

Firstly, the three links under \DA-free: Game Download\ is only the content for the FIRST part of the game, as in the first third of the game is made up of those three downloads. It's also why extracting one of them by itself doesn't work, they're all made together so they have to be extracted together, in my case using 7zip. English users need to extract those three parts at the same time, and then extract the english patch separately, then copy the contents of the english patch into the extracted parts of the game, replacing the files.

To get the second part, follow the \Monster Girl Quest 2 – Game\ hyperlink under the Related links, it's longer, but simply repeat the same general process for part 1 to get the second part of the game. Importing the data from part 1 requires you to copy the file called arc.nsa and ONLY THIS ONE over the file that's in part 2's contents. You will also need to go into part 1 save files and copy the file under the name: global.sav, and likewise overrite the file of the same name in part 2. Play part 2 and use the import options under the \Extras\ tab.

Part three has the same process but with a few more steps, there should be a read.me file there with the instructions. Just follow those. You might panic if you notice your skill points are blue, but don't worry if that happens, they simply changed the mechanic so that these blue ones represent 5 skill points to make it easier to keep track of how many you have.

To those wondering how to make extracting the free files work, the uploader kind of messed up a bit. In short, only the first file in a several part rar file should have the extension 'rar'. So to save an essay on why and how this is...

Change the filenames and extensions as follows:

MonsterGirlQuest.part1.rar > MonsterGirlQuest.rar
MonsterGirlQuest.part2.rar > MonsterGirlQuest.r00
MonsterGirlQuest.part3.rar > MonsterGirlQuest.r01

Note the names on all three files needs to be the exact same, while the extention needs to change. MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE EXTENTION AS WELL! Extract -only- the first file (Which is now names MonsterGirlQuest.rar) and the other two will be referanced during it's extraction. No need to extract them separately, just have them in the same folder.

As for the english patch? Extract to a new folder, copy everything, paste into install directory, and overwrite all. Simple as that

I don't have enough room on my phone for part 3 of monster girl quest but i have enough for the other parts, and i'll be able to get a couple of the full patch mods for it as well, so that's good enough for me. A very fun game played all the parts multiple times in a row. Monster girl quest fan for life.

I always loved this game and want to play it, but I have a Mac. Anyone knows if's this is compatible on Mac? If so, how?

I just finished this appalling game, and even though I know it's just episode 1, it'll be the only one for me as I'm not about to put myself thru such torture again.

Ok I admit it's not total garbage and the idea of a boy on the quest to become a hero with a funny monster girl as traveling companion is fine and all.

But most battles are horrendously cheap and unfair, and you can lose by the stupidest reasons. A few hours into the game I decided I hated it and resorted to a guide just to get it over with, and even with that there's times where I had to try 11 F@cking times just to beat one monster due to the retarded scripted battles.

Average game.
