Is this incompatible with windows 7? The exe brings up a settings screen, but it doesn’t let me click OK to start the game

Because they made the older version “Great Deceiver” run very heavy in RTX 3060 series PC and i use Windows 11 so- dude it almost 2026 and you still using that outdated OS?
C’mon man at least go get some Windows 10 version because it’s free and have the final version.
I finally got it to work on Win 7 , it runs without any issue so it wasn’t a compatibility problem. I had to do 2 things:
1. I changed my screen resolution to 1920 x 1080, this solved the problem with the OK button that didn’t let me run the game, but now the game crashed immediately at the main menu screen.
2. I downloaded an old english release of the game (machine translated) and moved the AdvHD.exe from that one to the new one (also had to move the emotedriver.dll) The old exe comes with a fix for windows 7 (something about Aero) and now the game runs normally

But in Windows 10 they give you automatic access so it’ll make your life more easy and you don’t need search it manually.
And for point 2 did you mean you move AdvHD.exe from another game and replace it?
How are u even running it? When I extract it im not getting an application file to start it
Turn Off your anti-virus then you’ll see AdvHD.exe in the winrar pack, all you need is extrack all and double click that file..
Ah that wasnt my issue. So I made the mistake of thinking this would be like starless. Not to burden people with my woes but recently my game laptop lcd kicked the bucked so im using an older basic laptop of mine. But basically the issue is u need a graphics card and probably a decent one based on ur experience both pcs I tried it on had intel cards not sure if that matters the one without a graphics card when running thr set up advhd didn’t pick up the game but when I used the pc with the graphics card it worked so maybe ur graphics card is not power enough which sucks cause honestly I dont think this game really needs that high of a graphics card.

lol so just a mistake not a problem, this is more similiar to Great Deceiver and Starless is very-very old engine program but it’s a masterpiece and run smoothly in every device glad you solve it.
Actually i’m playing with RTX 3060 series, i have all Empress game series because i’m a fan of Marie Mamiya neither of them have a problem.
Because Under the Witch is run in high setting in my PC so i think this is not a Hardware problem but just a bug or minor software issue maybe?
Hm im running it on a gtx 1060 updated windows 11 i7. Its like a 8 year old laptop give or take On an external sceen And its running fine.
