Probably just bugs. School Days HQ was like that at first IIRC. Run it as an administrator and hope there was a patch for the Japanese version and that Jast will make it available here (they just translate the subtitles, they don’t do any bug fixing).

I guest since it’s a game from a popular serie and has 78 files part, everyone try to download it at the same time since it take a long time and the server are over satured. It was not like this the day it came out.

I’ve heard talks of a restoration patch for that content though. I don’t even care if it’s translated or not, if i’m gonna enjoy a game I wanna enjoy all of it, so I’ll put this on the backburner until I learn japanese and get that version or this one gets restored.
It is actually legal in the US. The issue is it’s not legal in Canada and the UK, so Jast couldn’t sell the game outside the US if they didn’t cut it.

For anyone having issues.
When the game installs the install folder is read only, change this by right clicking the game’s folder and deselect read only. then apply to all files and sub-folders.
this should solve any issues
You also have to run it as an administrator because the save folder is in “C:\Program Files (x86)” instead of documents, and only administrators can write to that folder.

From what I have read it seems 2 characters were edited out, for being underage, but it’s still uncensored for all the other characters.

Was waiting for this, only the fact that Setsuna (best character in SChool days I would say) is main heroine makes it worthwhile.
Good has really big size, most likely because it is fully animated and has 38 Endings, compared with School Days HQs 22 Endings.
Infos are from School Days Wiki and most likely from Japanese Version, so hope that is still correct.
I’m on windows 10 x64. The game work flawlessly in full screen mode. Play 5 hours and only got one crash so far.

Doesn’t matter. Those scenes are censored with a black screen or just skipped ahead. They can’t be replayed either unless you get SysMenuSD.dll from the jp version and switch it with the one in your install directory.

Had two Setsuna Endings till now, one where she left for Paris and Makoto gives her up and one that is basicly the same with the difference that Makoto chase after her (Setsuna Happy End).
But both times I didnt even encounter Inori, anyone know what I must do to get to her? Better where a walkthrough, Eng/Jap are both okay, but didnt found either, only a flowchart, but without labels, so dont helps much.
Inori is on upper flowchart. choose “I want to go somewhere” in chapter 1.
I get File not found error when trying to download some of the 200mb files. Tried using chrome and got an Unknown Network Error.
You can download 2 files at once. Wait until 2 finish downloading before starting 3rd.

This game has quite a few typos. Looks like the delays didn’t help at all.
Hmm im not sure what that red bar at the top next to setsunas name is….. And i need a walkthrough… But i guess trying it blind is how you’re supposed to play anyways.
It’s similar to how Sekai/Kotonoha bar worked in School Days. Basically it shows Setsuna’s affection toward you, and it fills up, depending on your choices. It needs to reach certain value for some good endings.

Went through episode one without any problems, now episode 2 just constantly freezes!
Turns out the problem can be solved by not using the fullscreen mode.
However the problem stops when I use alt + enter to go into fullscreen mode instead of the menu option.

hey admin thanks for the upload of shiny days. I have been waiting year or two for it, but I have a problem. the problem is that start up is fine, but when I finish selecting setsunas (sorry if I spelt her name wrong)outfit screen goes black then I get a pop up that says first 1.00 then 1.0 and the game goes back to main menu. any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been following a Japanese walkthrough but I can’t access several endings after Setsuna goes to Paris. Choices that are supposed to appear simply don’t show up and then I get locked into an ending with Youko and Sekai or Setsuna punishing Makoto for cheating. Does anyone know if the content removal Jast did is responsible for this?

Try running it in Admin mode this fixes a couple of issues with the game.
How can we get the youko choice the first time I enter in the restaurant (and enter ehr route)? I think I did one of the first choice wrong… I only have Itaru choice no matter what I try
