War of the Human Tanks pits the group of Human Tanks commanded by the player against the opposing Commanding Officers and their forces in a campaign fought on a series of grid-based maps. Players will have to use their wits to upgrade their units and utilize them to the best of their abilities in order to progress throughout the game.
This story takes place in a land vaguely reminiscent of modern-day Japan. In the twenty years since the first Human Tank was developed, the war raging between the Empire of Japon and the Kingdom of Japon has turned into a proxy war fought between Human Tanks on both sides.
The Empire of Japon once ruled the entire land of Japon. Now diminished and cornered, the Empire prepares to make its last stand as the tanks of the Kingdom of Japon draw close to its capital. Shoutaro Daihon’ei, Lieutenant of the Imperial Army moves out to the battlefield, followed closely by the loyal Human Tanks in his company.

Thx for the find.
though the diff level drops once you get the more advanced barrage and AOE assault tanks + nagoya tower map is a perfect grind map so if you don't have them by then you will at that point
just gotta figure out how to switch routes i completed the game once already with all tanks and some items unlocked and it gives me a 25% completion message at the end
This game actually has two routes with two branches each. You have to lose some battles to get some of the endings.
First ending: Win all your battles.
Second ending: Lose battle 7 and win battle 12.
Third ending: Win all battles but 7.
Fourth ending: Lose battles 2 and 7 (best ending imho).
The neat storyline makes it definitely worth going through all the routes.
No. 02: Matsumoto Castle Railway
No. 07: Tenryuu Tunnel
No. 17: Great Fuji Forest
or just the second, seventh, and twelth battles you actually fight in, where the first battle is with Masamune (infinite-range battery)?
Miou \good\ ending and the true story ending : Win as many battles as you can, but at least be sure to win ep 7 and 12.(aka win all battles)
Miou \bad\ : The only battles that seem to matter, again, are 7 (win it), and 12 (lose it).
Kurara/Rara \good\ ending : Lose battle 7, and at least one other battle - which one doesn't seem to matter much. (Losing 2 gets you a different 5, though, so do that at least once.)
Kurara/Rara \bad\ ending 4: Lose battle 7, but win all others.
Endings 3 and 4 have little difference until you get to the last battle setup and epilogue.
3rd ending is the \best\ in a way but it can't change the fact that the 1st one is the true end
For the best experience i suggest playing in this order 1 - 2 or 4 - 3
No one upload it anymore.
