hmm, i encounter problem in playing game, i installed the game and patched according to the order using applocale set to Japanese then i open the game in applocale / without.. i be able to view the opening however when i try to press new game or others, it will come out a message box indicate that "age.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Please help me on this issue

hmm for me no eror make sure you instal in d if you have and maybe unistal and instal agin and pachit before you instal the eng patch if you have an antivirus make sure you turnit of becasu for some reason some antivirus block the ag exe and it stops or dont run i hope i helped.ps dont set to japanse i dint set it and it still worked the patch tip kami200 ap 01 then ap02 it shold work

I am stuck at "sunlit clearing"... I have to claim all collection points but I've only found 2, even tough I've searched 98% of the map and the last 2 percent are beyond a river and i can't seem to find a way to reach the other side. Does anyone know what i have to do here?

Any idea about voice patch ? I searched but I couldn't find any. About Walkthrough no English walkthrough found so far by me or japanese by that matter.

Holy shit, that's a lot of parts. Time to get to work!

So after installing the game and patches as instructed the age.exe was removed into a folder called backup.
after restoring the file and renaming it the game started BUT it was all still in japanese.
the patch apparently created a folder called patch with all the patched files. presumably because the main folder had japanese characters in it.
So i´ve removed all the files from the folder to the main folder, and replaced the files where prompted by windows.

after that the game worked in english :D

after which i found out the game has 1122 unlockable images/variation.. i'm so glad i've got a week off from school.

More problems: Around 70% during installation, I get some unintelligible error messages (unintelligible as complete gibberish, like the ones you get when you don't have japanese locale). Has anyone experienced the same problem? Also,before someone mentions it, my locale cannot be the problem, I haven't switched it from japanese in years. :P

P.S.: Now I'm trying to install it via Applocale, though I doubt it would help. Again, if someone actually knows what the problem is, please let me know.

Okay, I seem to have figured it out. It's as admin said in an earlier comment, you must install everything with Japanese locale. Applocale will not work. Anybody getting ARCGameEngine crashes should try this.

Menu is translated so it looks like the patch did work. however..the game crashes short after. hitting "start game" reveals another option menu but short after the game crashes.

Seems like you have to keep your computer in japanese locale to be able to play the game, if you have the Arcgameengine crash problem. This is how I got rid of the crash problem.

Part 18 doesnt' work for me; Mediafire says it's a broken link. Guess I'll just download parts 19 - 22 and wait for part 18...

My window opens with a red outline I've never seen before, I see the beginning of the anime opening and then it just closes after a few seconds. No error message or pop-up.

When I open the english .exe normally, I get unable to open archive file.

Plot summary:
Yuidora is an industrial city where crafts from numerous countries gather and where a wide variety of weapons and armors are created. Living in this city, Wilfred succeeded his workshop from his deceased parents and just took his first step to becoming an alchemist.
While there is tension within the kingdom and with neighboring countries, Wilfred hires three women as his bodyguards. Wilfred aspires to discover and create new crafts. He is always busy, studying and developing his workshop, along with help from many different races.
As he develops his workshop and becomes more intimate with others, he is faced with the troubles they are facing. Strife in their country, war with other countries, dispute with other races… He is dragged into war that determines the destiny of Yuidora and the Mikelty Kingdom…
The peace of the kingdom is in the hands of the young boy and girls.

*Play time: 100+ hours for 3 routes. For me, it took about 90 hours for the 1st playthrough, 50 hours for the 2nd, and 30 hours for the 3rd.

Story: 3/10
I’ll get right to the point. The story sucks. There’s no deep story and there’s no character depth. The characters felt flat, and you really don’t get to know the characters. The weren’t enough love-love events, and it was so bad that you couldn’t tell that the protag was going out with the heroine even after entering a specific route (except for a few Hscenes). The story is very happy (unlike Genrin) for an Eushully game. The story also suffers from an incredibly slow pace and super-convenient plot.
But even with all these negative aspects of the story, I didn’t really care since I wasn’t reading this for the story. As with Himegari, I would’ve rather liked it if the story was shorter so I could get back to the gameplay part.

Gameplay: 10/10
The game is about exploring maps/dungeons, creating items, and building your store. The battle system is like the ones in Genrin and Himegari, except it’s been improved and refined since then. The gameplay in this game is very, very good. There is just so much to do in this game: combining and creating items, collecting items, strengthening costumes, building your store, growing your characters, etc, etc. There is also a lot of freedom in the game. The game isn’t that hard, but you can always change the difficulty and there are extra dungeons. There are so many things to do and collect that it may become gruntwork for perfectionists (look at my playtime ^^;).
The bad parts. I didn’t like the level up stat increase randomizer. If you want a good character, you have to save -> turn start -> level up character -> reload if you don’t like stat increase. This gets cumbersome after a while. Another bad thing is that there is a big difference in strength of characters, especially after the first playthrough. All characters without 2 actions will be put in reserve because they just aren’t good compared to 2 actions. It’s also annoying how skills that allow you to move certain terrains have to be equipped onto the valuable skill slots (it’s too much hassle to change skills depending on terrain).
But with all the flaws, it’s still a really fun game and it really hooks you in and makes you keep playing. I loved it, especially since I love SRPG.

Graphics: 6/10
The graphics are good and the characters are drawn well. I didn’t have any problem with it. Just go look at the sample pics in the link above. Not much else to say about them.

Music: 4/10
The BGM is not memorable. I even had to go back and reboot the game and listen back so I remembered what the music was like. I don’t like the vocal song, and during the game, you’re mostly too concerned about the gameplay to worry about the BGM. Listening to it again, the BGMs aren’t that bad, but some of the tracks are way too overplayed.

System: 6/10
From the title, you have CG mode, recollection mode, and BGM mode. From in-game, you can change window mode, text speed, font, sound (voice, BGM, SE) volumes. There are also game-specific settings such as animation of movements, battles, auto turn end, etc. I like how you can turn off a lot of things for more efficient gameplay. During the game, you can also check things such as monster list, item list, quest list, skill list, character and term dictionary.
There are a few bad things about the system too. First, there’s no log after scene change. Then there’s the obligatory no “keep voices after mouse click” option, and you also can’t skip the ending movie.

Ero: 3/10
The ero wasn’t good in this game. I like the ero in the Genrin series, so I don’t know why I don’t like the ero in Eushully’s other games. The text just seems bland, and although the scenes are decently long, it was really boring to read. It didn’t help that I didn’t have any attachment to the characters. However, I thought it was cool how each heroine had different Hscenes with different costumes. Each heroine has 8+ scenes, and most of the side female characters have Hscenes as well. All the Hscenes are pretty normal, and this may be a first for a game from Eushully, as there is no rape scene!

My final score: 9/10
Get this game for the gameplay and gameplay only. It will disappoint you if you expect anything else from it. And they deliver big on gameplay. It will be a great game if you like grinding and collecting stuff. This is exactly the kind of game I love, so I enjoyed it a lot (probably spent too much time playing it and neglecting translation after it came out …). Now, I wish they would make Genrin 3 someday…

Recommended for: People who like gameplay, people who like SRPG, people who love grinding, and people who have lots of time.
Not recommended for: People who want story, people who want great characters, people who want short gameplay, people who hate grinding, people who want Eushully rape.

How do we get around the unable to open Archive File of the english patch? I have all appendixes and patches installed plus the full game. Do I open it inside the programs location or from the desktop?

Then after loading a few bars press next and it pop up some text box with a ping sound. press next again and it close. is that normal? and then when I run english patch it say software not found. Following the directions listed in the comments (thanks!) I've got the game up and running.

The only difficulty that I am experiencing is that there is some audio "stutter" whenever a character speaks. Its like a word or two gets cut off in the middle of the voice over.

Anyone else running into this?

then renamed the English patch exe to AGE

But when I start the game it searches my computer then says game not found?

Anyone knows how to beat the Reaper in chapter 2?(if it is even possible). He has that skill "Perfect Focus" which allows him to avoid any attack and I can't find any way to deal any damage to him. It should be easy to kill with 1 damage/attack but i can't manage to do any damage at all. Any ideas?
At the beginning of chapter 3 it says that the Reaper is not appearing anymore, so I guess there should be a way to defeat him in 2nd chapter.

I need help on accessing certain routes, I have tried 3 times to get into Yuella's route by recruiting the fox, the angel and getting the option to watch her, but every time I enter chapter 4, it's Emillita's route.

First time, recruited everything, same with second time to see if I can get a way into it.

Third time, I found how to get into her route, did everything but I still turn to Emillita's route in Chapter 4. (do not want to beat reaper for the 4th time in another playthrough...)

I'm honestly baffled right now.

Anybody solve the crashing after selecting new game? I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times now. Following the install guide posted above somewhere perfectly every time. It is so frustrating to be so close but to be unable to play. The Arc Game Engine keeps shutting down whatever that is.

Yes, i had the same problem...for me it was something trivial ^^ please check if ur language setting for non-unicode programms is japanese.
That should do the trick. ( you will find it in language / region settings -> advanced . needs restart after )

Ok now for 1 minor problem of myself:
I'd like to play the game on my "old" laptop, the game installs fine, intro is fine, but the Graphics of non-motion-pictures are messed up completely.

( main-menu is still good -> after clicking "new game" a total blur -> when clicking "begin" and the story starts its all well again. Status Screen is messed up too )

Also, does anyone know how to get a Fish Scale? I'm trying to get past chapter 4 (like a lot of others are) and I want to check if forging all of the clothing this far will do anything. for chapter 4 all you guys need to do is this mission
mission 1-the last search? - you need to go to blitz moor at kania wasteland..

mission 2-research holy elementals - i think you need to level melodiana and do her events or if needed i think you need to level shanty as wel.

mission 3-research flame elementals - need to level uya then do his events

mission 4reforge yuela sword- need to go to rock turtle nest at amurent forest land..

after this you will just get scene whos route you go for... after that you can advance to chapter 5

all you guys have to do is complete mission . i think quest is not important.. and you can check at what chapter the quest will fail at info then quest..

How do I install this game? I'm on Windows 7, running in Japanese locale, ran the setup.exe as admin, have admin privileges, ran it in compatibility mode, tried prying the files out of the CD image... nothing works. I keep getting an error when I try to install it.

my shop and workshop, but nothing appears to go to the next level.

I know I'm supposed to get some sort of toggle from the old guy at the bar to go to the mountain to rescue a lost alchemist, but I'm not getting anything from him. It's me or there's no voice after the patch? Because, when the first NPC talk to us at the beginning of the game when we enable "lower BGM when voice acting", the BGM get lower but there isn't any voice, is it normal? It came later?

I have the same question like many others about chapter 4. I can't advance, no quests/events. I've already read the other comments about blitz moore since i don't have that map, but I am already lv20 and yuela lv31 and still haven't got it. I've already researched all the elements and finished all possible maps 100%(completed). I couldn't finish 2 maps which require silver key. I've also finished all possible quests until now.

Hmm I have a problem about saving. My game work nicely and dosen't crash exept when I try to save.
The error dosen't close the game but I can't save my progres :/. It would be nice if anyone can help me. Also just to make it sure, I use jap local, all patch are installed and I don't get any crash while I play.

Anyone know if the stat bonus when you level up is really random or not cause sometimes it will not give me +str no matter how many times i tried (think i wasted almost two hours on Yuela trying to get +str but it just would not come).

It was only like 15 turns, I used Yuela to solo the reaper and lost. It brought me to a cutscene and that was the end.

8. Started the game
9. Changed font to Gothic
10. Everything works - no problems so far
11.Then you get into a dungeon and fight your first battle.

This is where my problem appears.... for some reason i hear alot of combat noises in the background when battle starts but the screen just stops... it looks like its stuck but its not since i can use the menus when i move mouse to top of screen..

I'm at chapter 6 in the alchemy testgrounds and i have to solve a riddle in a room full of chests. It looks like the chests are arranged like the event places(market, church, etc) in yuidora and there is the text "two open chests marking people together".

Hi after installing and playing i noticed in the beginning that my game freezes when animations happen in the dungeon or battles. I first noticed it when i tried picking up the feather in the first dungeon it would just freeze and doesnt respond. I've tried reinstalling many times and following the install guide shown in comments but nothing seems to work i was wondering if someone else is getting this same problem and a solution plz

Changing the locale under the ADMINISTRATIVE tab fixed the 1155 error I was having. This isn't the same thing that erogedownload has you do in its install guide (at least I'm pretty sure it doesn't). In the same window where you change your location, there's the ADMINISTRATIVE tab, change that and you're good to go.

I'm having trouble extracting the append patches, and i cant extract kami_ap01.

Starting the extraction from 'KamidoriPatches.part2', will give me an error telling me to start from a previous volume and only extract ap02.

Starting from 'Kamidori_Appends+2.00Update' will give me an unexpected end of archive error and just extract 'kami_200'.

I've tried redownloading and different extractors

For all wo have problems to get the right heroin.
In the first 3 chapters are 2 scens where you can chosse one with servalwi and one with yuela. If you watch yuela by her training and dont help servalwi and do all other possible event's you will get emelitas route. When you help servalwi and watch yuela by her training and do all other pssoible events you will get servalwi's route. I tested it my self.
By yuela's route i think you must don't watch yuela and don't help servalwi. But i haven't tested it yet.

My game always crash on battle scenes.... can someone tell me how to fix this?

I was wondering about the sec append disk (Hannah's Pilgrimage), is it included with this? and I have read about EX and Eushully events, can I turn those on after I have completed the 2 extra stories and the main?

I've noticed that enemies seem to level up with you in this game, does each area have a certain point where the enemies stop matching your level? I keep getting my ass handed to me by those feral goblins in the area you have to play through with just Wil and Emelita. Pretty much my only hope of making it to the end of the maze in 50 turns is to overlevel them XD

TO THOSE GETTING THE SOFTWARE NOT FOUND ERROR

Sometimes the patchs will fail to install, to make sure it was successful check for the following files in the game folder before patching with kami_200. Also make sure that you place all patches in the game folder.

kami_ap01:
APPEND01.AAI
APPEND01.ALF

kami_ap02:
APPEND02.AAI
APPEND02.ALF

If all 4 of those APPEND files are present then you can patch with kami_200.

After that the English patch should work.

I've also had the save problem and managed to work around it although I doubt the solution will be very pleasant. The short version is that it is a locale problem.

My normal account name used a non japanese unicode. Most games played normally when I changed the locale to japanese, but a few others needed to be in a folder that only had latin (or japanese) characters (and also all the folders you used to go to that folder also had to be in latin characters). Still there were very few games that even that didn't work and oddly enough the solution was to make another account that was in latin characters (changing my old one to latin didn't work). This was the case with this game as well, had problems installing it in my original account, and although I could play it there when installed, I could only save in the account that had english characters.

So my solution is make an account in your computer that is in english and play the game from there. I am completely clueless about how locales work, so if someone has an easier solution let me know as well.

I still have the same problem, when in the tutorial you have to pick up the feathers it freezes and after some time it opens another window called ActiveMovie Window with some sort of effect. Yea, make sure you got all three uninstall files in the game folder, I had to install kami_200 twice, as it didn't appear after the first install for some unknown reason. ^^;

You can run through the installer without it actually being installed, so keep an eye for the three uninstall files for the patches (as listed by nathred) during the patching process for verification. :)

make sure u install the game n install the patches one by one from 1.0 to 2 n 2.0 or else the game will crash or unplayable when u use the english patch...

HEY ADMIN: Please copy the following Guide to your posting, lots of people seem to have the game-crashing problem:

Game Crashes shortly after start. To prevent it do as follows:

- Uninstall the complete game.
- change your country ins the systemoption to japanese (restart required).
- install the game and DONT use applocale.
- install the Patches in order. first the two 1.X patches, then 2.00 (DONT use applocale!)
- Copy english patch to gamedirectory and install it
- run the game and enjoy.

The Important things once again: Never use Applocale and change your system to japanese. That should do the trick.

I need a little help. Whenever I exit the game, half of the time, the game will cause my entire laptop to freeze forcing me to shut down my laptop. Then when I reboot my laptop and restart the game, it asks me to change the settings around, but it's all in japanese, so I don't know what settings to change to prevent this. Help?

Having trouble installing the game. Here is what happens:

1. I mount the image via daemon tools and the autorun works ok.
2.Once it loads the screen I get 5 options. optioan 1 and 3 are greyed out so i think 2 is what i'm supposed to click, which I do.
3.I get the Install wizard thing and it's unreadable basically it says [ 1155:??????(bunch of weird signs like function sign in advanced math).msi ??????]

I have a question about a mission from chapter 8. I need to deal the finishing blow with wil to a monster while wearing "crimson seal" hammer in order to capture it(finish the mission) but I've already equipped "soul maul" which can not be removed once you equip it. Am I unable to complete the mission then? Isn't it necessary to complete all misions to advance to the next chapter?

I installed it using the Jap locale instead of the Applocale and it all went fine. Still, due to some weird issues, my PC gets a Blue Screen of Death if it spends more than 1 hour in any locale different from the default english(It has always been like that). So, is there any way to play it using Appslocale or any or any other way that doesn't include having to change the locale? Because if I use appslocale I get a CTD error that says like this:

1. mount the msd files
2. run the image, click on the second button, the first one is not clickable
3. copy and paste the ap patches into the game folder in program files, and install them in order
4. install the english patch there

For a fully translated game they did much a lot of lines..
in my second play though first one was fully translated

Quick question for the admin. Do you guys have a relationship with the english translating groups or do you just find these when they come up?

Hi i just downloaded it, and i tried to install it but each time i go through the process it wont let me. It says install wizard and some Japanese stuff. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

I have one irritating problem.

1. I've installed the game via applocate (all good and sweet).
2. I've installed the patches 01, 02, 200 in this order via applocate (all as well good and sweet).
3. I've run the english patch...and it says that's unable to open the archive.

Did anyone else got this problem?

Ok, all the problems solved, but now, when I try to begin the game after clicking New Game, the game crashes.
Somebody knows how to fix it?

Chapter 7 - Quest 143 [Present for a Wife] is uncompleteable. Reason - there is no recipe for the necklace and I can't find anywhere a drop from it - tried all regions. (it is a mutation from one of the recipies)

I keep getting this random lag/jerk in the audio when playing, especially when there is voiceover.
Anyone know how to fix it?
(Running WS2008 R2 with JPN locale, tried compatibility mode, doesn't help.)

How do I restore Aht's form for the quest #24?

the "deadbeat" dungeon. it's heaven for those that have problem with money, item, and exp gathering.

the only problem with that is visiting and clearing the place give you status "deadbeat" above your status.

or if you play for 30 hour's and doesn't give a damm about the game anymore you can just using cheat engine and cheat all the way.

It seems that new game+ quest lines are not fully translated thought the quest gets a english tag in the quest journal but you cant get info for it and dont know what to do and where to go becouse dialogue lines for it in city mode are in japanease

I have just finished the Serwi route.
It's a fanstastic game.

Im stuck at the chapter 6 alchemy exam, i have done the boxes i have killed all the slimes at once but i can not figure out what it means when i have to kill the big mob with the person closest to me unique skill. Im using Yuela to kill it since im on her route but i have no idea what this Unique skill is meant to be. Anyone know? Seriously stuck.
