What about English Patch? I installed this and it's in Japanese.

The English is a bit hard to comprehend. I got the sense that it was translated to English from Japanese by native Japanese speakers, without utilizing an English editor. It's an interesting way to look at it in Japanese and English for people working on the language, though.

This game deserves an "engrish" tag... The built-in "english" translation is arguably worse than the AGTH text-hooker translation method used for non-english translated games on hongfire.

Seriously, the game (from what I've seen of it) looks gorgeous, but the translation is nearly renders it nearly unplayable.

For a better idea of just how bad the "english" translation is in this, go to a random getchu site, copy a few paragraphs, and then stick that into Babelfish. Now imagine something a little bit worse and you've the general idea.

What you will see in the first few minutes:

If you do not focus on the grammar and just sort of go with the flow, it not bad at all. Just look at major words and ignore placement of the noun, pronouns, adjective, verbs...

Is this vn play-able despite the translation issues?Just want some opinion from someone who has played the game.

So is this just a light novel or has ecchi?

...If someone were to offer to translate this into English, would anyone volunteer to code in that script so this would be more accessible to more people?

How do I install it it's in Japanese, can't understand what's it asking for, while installing there were so many options and I don't understand them, can anyone help me with it

The Engrish really bothered me for a chapter or two. After that, I stopped noticing it, even though it hadn't really improved. As an earlier comment said, this game is sadder than Narcissu. Every chapter is a different utsuge.

Even when I quit the game in windowed mode it will start up full screen next time - and windows messes up all other open window sizes due to the 640x480 fullscreen...

Doesn't the game save any configuration file? If it does, where can I find it?
