when you try to launch the game even after changing local, format, unicode and region to Japanese.
You just need to move the main game folder (all the game, files and .exe) somewhere else (desktop worked for me). This error is some kind of language problem. The main " .exe " cannot find the game's files because changing local to japanese also changed the writing characters (/ -> Yen symbol, [ -> u, etc...) of the folder's access route if that make any sense...
So just move the game's folder once you set your computer to japanese (on windows 10 : Parameter -> date and language -> region and language -> administrative's language parameter -> change region for non-unicode programs)
I love how you can get the first good ending after the very first choice of the game. It's not even a hard choice - it's the one any sane person would make when faced with this situation. Which means the only way to actually play the game is to make the brain-dead decisions of your typical hentai sub protagonist which... yeah, that makes sense.
