Well I say its the beta version(Huge spoilers given due to a bug and other errors in text )and the beta didnt have the DRM thus the lighting fast release of the game here it does not need a patch to work .

are there voices in this game?

I think I wait for the voice patch. Its no fun without voices.

To the people that wait for a voice patch: While there is a chance that some people will attempt to hack the voices from the japanese version into this release, please keep in mind that they changed to another engine since english didn't work out with the old one. I am not to sure if the new engine will even allow them to import the voices of the japanese version.

Its scarey how quickly the DRM can be worked around last night i found this on a torrent but it had DRM so i had a look on /jp/ and within a few hours they had a working DRM free .exe file to replace the DRM one with.

So will the no beta vercion be uploaded here...?

just wondering if anyone notice that it takes time for a file to be save or to load in this game?

I'm experiencing some issues with the game, even with the patch.
Going to the Load screen simply prompts an error in japanese to pop up, disallowing me to load any data. Second problem is that the Save screen takes ages to load. Running it as an admin doesn't help, and I've never experienced much problems with other visual novels.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading Part 3? I get to 99% and then my download gets interrupted. I have tried it on three different browsers and both file hosts. Same result for everything. Any ideas?

Does anybody else has problems with the skip feature? Both problems seem to be also in the trial version.
1. The skip button is not available in the beginning (first few sentences) of a scene, even if already read. But even worse
2. The skip feature skips through a whole scene (i.e. until a new day) even if you've read only the beginning. If you get an additional part for a scene this will be skipped, too. If you stop skipping yourself you will notice, that the skip feature is (correctly) not available for that part.

The config is set to skip only read text.

Just wondering, but does anyone know why it's so small? Total size even with the voice patch is little over 1 gig.
Yet when I was looking into downloading the japanese version before hearing it was going to be translated, the original virtual game disc was over 4 gigs. Just how much unnessary data did they prune when they were porting it?

Doesn't make much of a difference to playing it I suppose, but 3 gigs just vanishing makes me worry.....

I'm having problems with running this game.

I downloaded all three parts of this game. I can load this game fine when I double click the .exe on winrar. But when I extract it to my desktop or another folder and double click it there, a blue screen full of japanese text shows up and a folder named savedata pops up out of nowhere.

KaraNoShoujo (winRar) came with three files: karanoshoujo.xp3, karanoshoujo.exe, and a folder called plugin.

I also don't know how to install the voice patch and the fixed non spoiler patch. Please HELP

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD. LET ME JUST SAY THIS.

But what is the proper way to play Visual Novels? I try going through all the bad endings first, and the good endings, and then the true ending. But when I do that, I end up skipping a LOT of dialogue (because I have already been through them) that should intensify the story. I don't want to do it the other way around because doing the bad endings last will end a sour taste in my mouth. How do other people enjoy this?

I'm not really sure where to ask this, so I will just ask here. Do you have any plans to upload "Yukkuri Panic Escalation"? I can't find a download for it to save my life.

Just wondering two things: 1- is this the english mangagamer release?(for some reason, I can't swap regions on my computer; I think it's because I don't have the font) 2- if it isn't the mangagamer translated version, could you upload it?

I tried downloading via Filesonic as a Free User but halfway through (at about 50%+), there was some sort of error and the download just stopped. No matter how many times I tried again, not just for this game title but also other game titles, the problem would not go away. Must I upgrade to premium account?

One more thing, I suspect that once I started downloading, I only have a limited amount of time to finish it. When I download small files, this problem did not occur. The problem only surfaces when it comes to downloading big files like 200MB+. After a certain amount of time (I usually reached about 50%+ by that time), the download just sort of stop/crash? Any ideas guys?

Ended the game...where's the damn gore?! just some unknown grotesque creature!! indeed the story is gore, but there's almost no cg of it, don't get me wrong, 95/100 to the game, loved the plot, but is not that grotesque as I expected.

Depressing ending. I appreciate the effort put into making an original ending, but a classic happy ending (beat the bad guy, get the girl) would have been better in my opinion.
I'm also sad that there are no Stella, Ayumu or Yukari endings.
None lees this is a great game and i can recommended it to anyone who does not mind a little gore.

I just finished the game and went to find a spoiler of Kara No Shoujo 2.....God freaking damn it! the guy who deserves a happy ending more than anyone in the damn story doesnt get it!

Kara No Shoujo is definitely one of the best VN's out there, that's for sure..... but still.... *cries*

Hello there, I'm in a pickle, and I hope someone will be able to help.

During day... 8 I believe (the one, when you question the girl from Kendo Club, about disappeared students), after school, I chose the Academy as the place to visit. This triggered a scene with Yukari, and during it, an error message appeared with some garbled mess. Lots of question marks (I assume it's due to lack of Japanese symbols) and somewhere mention about the font. The game didn't crash, but refused to move on as well. I close the game. When I started writing this post, I wanted to get back to it, and copy/paste the message entirely... And then I noticed that the game doesn't see my saves anymore (even though there is a savedata folder with files in it).

Did someone had this problem? If so, is there a workaround for it?

Appreciate any help I can get.

Thank your for the game, it is really one of the best i'd ever play so far.
Now i have some issues - even if the game is in progress, and i already have reached a bad end - and have many saves - well, when coming back to the title screen - the gallery menu is still locked - i cannot see the pictures i'd unlock so far.
So i'd go on sagaoz so as to get the savedata file - and get 100% CG - in case one would need to get the good ending to unlock the gallery menu. But then again it doesnt work.
does anyone have the same issue ? not being able to open the "gallery cg" ?

its overdone (the sister of your mother is the friend of the doctor who treated your dog which was born in the same place that X, so X and you are... expect more than chain like that one in the game).
endings dont really bring that much of an answer, and you need the sequel to really answer the most important one "where is..."
after all these hours... such a letdown.
and then all this suckers saying its the biggest thing ever. dont become the mass. theyre like ants that cant think for themselves, and so they just repeat what they hear.
kara no shoujo is one of the best VNs, and there they go, repeating the lie over an over. come on, have an opinion of your own once in a while. its like... yes, exactly
