Prewar-era Japan.
Deep in the snowy mountains of northwestern Japan, there exists a settlement called Hitogata, the Village of Dolls. On the night of the festival honoring the clay idol Hinna-sama, a girl is murdered.
The villagers all blame Hinna-sama’s curse. One outside the faith has joined in the festival of Hinna-sama, and brought the painful death of the curse down upon themself.

Two years have passed since Kuchiki Touko’s abduction from her hospital room.
Tokisaka Reiji’s younger sister saves a man who had tried to commit suicide.
He, too, is the most recent victim of “Hinna-sama’s curse”——
Tokisaka Reiji begins his investigation, clinging desperately to the hope that Touko can be saved——
And at the same time, a strange religious group said to have dissolved six years ago begins to move again, to put a certain plan into motion——

After the true ending of KnS1, i decided to read some spoilers about KnS2.... AND IT HURTS! IT HURTS TOO MUCH! As good as this game is (probably one of the best) ITS JUST TOO CRUEL TO ITS CHARACTERS!
Who plays(Or perhaps reads) those depressing pseudo-deep "games"? Only some emotional masochists I guess... and fans of snuff porn I guess.
I mean there can be a game with a damn good story without having to make it some goddamn snuff-flavoured depression trip. I am seriously worried about mental health of people at studio who create Kara no Shoujo...
This game references events from both the previous Kara no Shoujo and Cartagra, so to fully enjoy the story it would be best to play Cartagra > Kara no Shoujo > this game here, in this order.

I just finished the first game in an epic two-day binge and I really want to start this one!
Actually, as good as it was I felt this game was inferior to the original Kara no Shoujo.
That said, I'm glad I played, Yukiko best newcomer for me - the 'Yukari' and 'Yukio' endings were the most heartbreaking.
I do not know if the crack caused it or if it was messed up to begin with, but this stream of events does simply not make sense. I'll have to be unspecific so as to not include any spoilers.
It's at the choices \Set a trap/play it safe\, \Tell her/Don't tell her\ and the following map choice. For instance, even if you decide NOT to set the trap, Reiji will behave like he did, and even if you decide to not tell her, she will be part of the group regardless for I have no idea what reason. Lastly, the combination of choices you need to do to get past the bad Endings seems entirely random. Why would telling her affect if the trap works or not? She is entirely unrelated to the trap.
I already confirmed this problem does not apply to my game alone as I know someone else who played it separately from me and got the same problem.
I don't know if there is any way to fix this (or if its just meant that way), but I thought I'd at least try get a second opinion about this, so if anyone else thought it wierd or has any ideas about this, feel free to answer.

It's not in the appdata folder...(and not in my documents either)
Game still saves, but I have no idea where the save data files are.
In menu there is a "Gallery" but its locked, how can i unlocked it?
