Oh boy... Verily, Kisaya's mannerisms doth grate on my nerves - Ye Butchered Olde English gets annoying after a while.

Anyway, extracting the contents of lcsebody2 and lcsebody2.lst with exwlcs.exe works like a charm. If anyone wants step-by-step instructions, here they are.

1. Download this old lcsebody1 crack and put it in your game folder... http://www.putlocker.com/file/2E29B6C3621F3080

2. Download exwlcs.exe from http://www.findthatzip-file.com/search-16264236-hZIP/winrar-winzip-download-exwlcs-zip.htm

3.Extract it with whatever unzipper you use (I use Winrar) and place it in the same older you have Harukoi Otome installed.

4.Hold down control and left-click both lcsebody2 and lcsebody2.lst and drag the two of them on top of exwlcs.exe

5.You should have a bunch of PNG's in your game folder now. Double-click the lcsebody1 crack you downloaded step 1 and you're good to go - no problems whatsoever.

That or you can wait till a proper crack comes out, but this works.

exwlcs could not extract icsebody2/.lst. Simply show a black window that quickly displays: could not ************** and that was it...

Was having the same problem with the exwlcs not working, had a quick look and noted the folder was marked as read only?? Changed that and it seemed to work.

I had the same thing too, I just had to do it like 50 times and it just randomly worked the 80th time, so just keep trying.

Works, however get a lot errors whenever a character image is supposed to show up layer itself over the background. So it would be best just to wait for the crack

not sure what you mean but doing the above method the game works 100% for me (i didnt drag them on top of it though, used the legit command prompt command), havent encountered any errors or problem with the character sprites. already finished 2 full routes.
so if you get errors something must have gone wrong somewhere.

I'd have to say that it's true that too much sex can ruin a really good story. I didn't go through otoboku until after seeing the anime, so maybe I'm biased?

the anime version of vn's are ussaly quite diffrent from the vn itself so maybe but it depends on the game for me romance vn's specially pure romance ones i dont like sexual content untill your on a route but i dont mind it in games like alchemy meister because that game is epicness incarnate and nothing could stop me enjoying it :D oh by the way i dident actually get an answer to my question does anyone know if this game does have sexual content before the routes because im probaly going to avoid it if it does

The font sucks a bit (not sure if it's a crack problem or what) and the spacing is strange between some characters which makes it a little hard to read at times but it's working fine now with the method Jesse suggested. Only dragging the files onto exwlcs.exe did nothing for me. I had to go into the command prompt and type in exwlcs lcsebody2.lst lcsebody2, which worked fine then. So besides the font issue thanks!

Not exactly sure what Vera font you were talking about but I've tried a few and still have the same error in the spacing as before.
