Look, man, buying the game is all well and good, but dude, it's $50. Not only will I not have enough free cash for that 'til at least the beginning of next month, why the hell should I drop that kind of money on something I'm not sure I want?

And again, the stupidity of 'just buy it' on a site for downloading things for free. Just... really.

That's prolly the worst question to ask lol the general response being "buy it" as is already evident or "the more you ask the longer it'll take". On the upside seeing as the existing crack at least partially works it shouldn't be long before somebody gets around to working out the kinks.. Glad

I'm still working on Grisala no Kajitsu makes the wait easier :)

If you're really impatient (and really poor), you can run the game using the lcsebody1 provided up there. You just need to extract the contents of lcsebody2. You can utilize google to find lcsebody extraction tools. If you did it right you'll end up with about 4.6 thousand .pngs. Just leave those in the same directory as lcsebody1.exe and it will find them and you should be on your way.

The reason that lcsebody won't work as is is because it doesn't check for lcsebody2(It's from a game that had everything in lcsebody1), which has all the character graphics.

Kept looking for extraction tool for about 30 mins, downloaded Crass, spent a minute or 2 figuring out the way it's used... And now I got the game up and running.

Hmm, nope. At least the way I did it didn't fix the biggest problem.
The moment it tries to open the intro movie it still crashes. So still can't access the main story. >_<

Your codecs are probably fucked up or something. Go to install folder and open haru_op.avi to see if you can even play it. If you can't, there's your problem.

It could be. WMP can play it, but the default player it's trying to use considers it unsupported format. I'll be trying out some stuff on that front, but if you got suggestions, feel free to throw them my way. I'll be back to check on this later.

The program is exwlcs.exe and you need to make a new folder drag lcsebody2 & lcsebody2.lst to it then you change the 2 to 1 then drag to exe once done rename the lcsebody back to how they was and copy everything to installation folder.

Is this suppose to extract the files? When I drag the icebody2 file, renamed to icebody 1 to the exe file it just brings up a command prompt and does nothing.

I am having the same issue as the user above. when i follow Nero's instructions, all i get when dragging the renamed icsebody files to the exe file i just got a command prompt that shows up very briefly and disappears. I dont see any png files that were extracted. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

put lcsebody + lcsebody.lst in a directory with exwlcs,
open a prompt, go to the directory and type exwlcs lcsebody2.lst lcsebody2

Just once more though, I'd say do buy this if you actually have the money. The way mangagamer sets their prices is based on the lenth of the VN itself, so long ones like these get 50 dollar pricetags because 2mb of text costs them about 67 grand to pay to translate(Rough assumption based upon 0.01c per char, chars per byte). Basically, if they sell less than 1200 copies of this they effectively lost money. And their biggest seller to date has only sold about 2400.

The softhouse seal titles are all short and only cost about 10k-15k to translate, so they're what actually makes them money. At 25 bucks a pop, those ones only need to get in the high hundreds before they're making money. I imagine if their big titles keep bombing in sales they're eventually just going to give up and just do nothing but softhouse seal shit.

Agreed on the fact that people should buy it if they have the money.

Sadly I think it's the way they plan their pricetags is backfiring on them. Selling any game at 50 dollar price requires huge existing prestige or massive and successful advertising.

The way I see it, from 10 potential buyers, at least 4 will buy the 25 dollar crap instead, since that's simply something they CAN buy. From the remaining 6 at least 4 will buy the cheaper 25 dollar game as well... Since it's that much cheaper and they don't really know either game anyways.

At $25 bucks for the long titles, they'd need to start selling more than 3000 copies to make a profit. I frankly doubt there's even that many potential customers out there.

The game starts but the sprites don't show, you'll get errors etc. The crack works only partially.
