DRAMAtical Murder

A time far in the future.
In Midorijima, an island to the southwest of the Japanese islands.
People and nature once coexisted on this plentiful island.

However, due to being purchased by the leading company of Japan “Toue Company”, one third of the island has been changed into the extravagant amusement facility “Platinum Jail”. Equipped with the latest cutting edge technology, Platinum Jail has gathered attention. On the other side, the islanders who became victims of forceful development are forced into the “Former Residents District”, and have no choice but to carry out their lives in in a place that is by no means prosperous.

The protagonist Aoba spends his days working part-time at the junk shop “Heibon” inside the Former Residents District, living together with his grandmother Tae.

Among the young people of the Former Residents District, a certain game has become popular. In “Liebstiez”, teams are created and days of human-bullet turf wars unfold. On the other hand, “Rhyme” is electronic brain online game using a virtual world as its setting that “Rhymers” are going crazy over. Aoba shows shows no interest in either one, thinking that it would be nice to just live peacefully with his grandmother.

But a disaster that will shake up those peaceful days has already begun…

Not much you or I can do about that unless we personally start translating and patching the games ourselves. Until that time we're at the "mercy" of those who do. I'd personally like to see more 18+ otome games done (being an adult - well teenage romance is just "too cute" to me now), but unless I want to spend what little time I have left in my day studying a forign language, not much I can do.

I may just play this just to see what it is like-but I tried some yaoi manga in the past and it just wasn't my cup of tea.

this game is actually better in my opinion. Togainu no chi is centered around a dark atmosphere and because of that, everything is just rough without a lot of fluff. Being cornered rats and are always in danger of loosing life, the story just has more of a rushed feel. I get where all the disappointments might be but due to what the story was trying to do, it left a lot of plotholes that couldn't be filled in that limited space.

This game on the other hand, there's a lot more wriggle room. It's got more time and less tension for more development. The art is much brighter and has more distinction between good and bad endings. It's a good read if you ask me and omg, I love Noiz!

So are u telling the admin to buy the game himself? you do know that someone have to attain a legit copy first right?... its the cracker's responsibility to retain a copy 'anyway' he can.
Crackers never had much problems cracking other games (like from jast-usa or g-collections), I think it's always the mangagamers' game that they would need more time to crack them
If you haven't noticed already, the admin here ONLY uploads the game once its cracked.
Like I said , there's no point for him to upload an uncrack version. You wouldn't want that either do you?
Or why not just buy the game if you're really really urgent to play it?

for those who avoid this because it's yaoi, take Noiz's route. 3 h scenes and their quite bearable. plus amazing story line and a few mindfuck moments where everything actually makes you wonder what the fuck. and not the "wtf... this is stupid" more "omg.. wtf is going on... WTF... im creeped out but i cant stop clicking!"
in short - yaoi haters - muscle through it and you WILL be rewarded

I have a problem about this,

I finished downloading the 15 parts and the patch. so my process is:

1. extracted all of it (then "Dramatical Murder" appeared, they all went in there)

2. extracted the patch/ so I got two folders from the patch which are a.) patch b.) videos

3. going back, after what I did in step 1. I hit the setup.
so the japanese words started to appear all I did is NEXT, NEXT until it's done. (i don't even understand wth I'm hitting)

4. I went here C:\Program Files\NitroplusCHiRAL\DRAMAtical Murder

[I pasted the patch which are a.) patch b.) videos]

5. and last, there's

a.) DMMD.exe
b.) DMMD_crack_for_ver110.exe

in it right? from:
C:\Program Files\NitroplusCHiRAL\DRAMAtical Murder

I chose letter B and hit "create a shortcut"

now, my problem is:

a.) I can't save my logs [If I try, it will crash]
b.) as I tried to continue, it cuts me off the moment Kojouki's girls touch Aoba's hair and call him "you look like a girl"

I love this game a lot! It's got a very good story, lots of twists and turns while the characters were awesome. Don't knock it till you try it guys, this game is way better than game that are just there for fap material. If people would focus more on story and character development, no one would care if it's yaoi, yuri, or the usual. This is going to get buried, but agreed with above. You should all really give it a try; as the above poster has noted, the story is great. I also have to give the soundtrack almost a perfect score. Unless you have some severe reason, you can always skip through the h-scenes. Don't give it up just because of the Yaoi!

Hey, to answer you, after downloading all the parts, just unzip the first rar file and you should be able to play it normally. I get the same thing when my psp iso's are separated into 4 or 5 parts, sometimes 7 parts. So I just download them all first, then open the first one and copy the file out. I hope it works.

One more thing.. when starting the game, please note if you are just patching the Japanese game midway through YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO YOUR SAVES!! This patch is for people only starting a new game!

Last thing, it is normal to get a black screen when starting up the game. Wait one minute and it will work!

all right guys, some of you might experience problems while installing (like i did lol). what i did is:

1) I install the game using the ISO.
After installing the game, the program will prompt you to install the SDRT. Dont need to install that as we will be using the crack version.

2) Update the game to version 1.10
In the same folder as ur iso, there is a folder "DMMdUpdate1.10".

Look for file "nss.npa" & "system.npa". Copy and paste it to the folder where u install the game.

Ignore the "DMMd.exe".

3) English patch the game.
The pdf will have instructions on how to english patch it. One thing to note is there is no need to rename the files.

4) Run using crack.
In the folder containing the game ISO, there is a folder "DMMd_crack_for_ver110".

Copy and paste "DMMd_crack_for_ver110.exe" into the folder which u install the game.

Run using "DMMd_crack_for_ver110.exe"

Viola! Everything should work fine.

u have to unrar the game using programs like "winrar" or "7z" or any other programs of your chose.

Then u need a program to mount the iso. One type of program is "DAEMON TOOLS".

I'm confused on how I'm supposed to copy/paste the .npa files (such as "system.npa") and what folder I paste it into. If I'm correct, the root folder is the folder containing the iso, update, dmmd_crack, and whatnot...is that folder the one I am to paste into? I need help. Are you running the crackfile? You should avoid running the file called DMMd.exe, since that one requires the ID license. Try running the one called DMMd.crack or something like that :3

Hey there. I was having problems with opening the crack launcher. A black window would pop up and then go away. The problem was not with my system locale (though you should have that set to Japanese before even installing the game otherwise you will have many other problems to worry about). I went to the \C:Program Files (x86)NitroplusCHiRALDRAMAtical Murder\ folder where I had put the crack launcher and opened the crack launcher directly from there. The game finally opened up after I did that.
Maybe this could help someone who is having trouble.

I was also doing the noise route, but I guess something is seriously wrong with mine. I got to the point where Aoba gets into Noise's mind, passes all the gray hands and then accepts Noise's kiss. However, the instant that happens, the screen goes black, the Nitral + title screen appears, flickers two times and I end back near the beginning of the game. None of the quick function buttons function, so I can't load another game, or call up the menu screen...

Help!

To the both of you, it's part of the game. It's supposed to be glitchy and look messed up. If you can read what's being said before the glitch gets worse then you will realize nothing is wrong.

I'm having trouble with the game opening. I have it on Japanese locale but for some reason when I try to open with the crack in the program it says the program isn't compatible with my computer software. I have a 32 bit computer and it's saved in the x86 program files with the reconnect version file but for some reason it's saying it's not compatible.

It's probably too late to answer but You can download the link to the game only if you pay. So in order to get the game for free you need to download each parts (from 1 to 15) and download the english patch as well. After that change your computer locale to japan (in settings) extract the files with WINRAR (you need to have this application that's free to download) and mount the .ISO file with DAEMON TOOLS (another free to install app). Once you've done that a pop up will appear asking you if you trust this app (the game). Click on yes and install the game. After that go in your file where the .ISO and other files are, extract both the 1.10 update and crack .ZIP files.Open in a separate window the game’s Program Files location (C: < Program Files (x86) or Program Files < NitroplusCHiRAL < DRAMAtical Murder). Inside your DMMdUpdate1.10 folder, highlight the three files, and drag them over to the game folder. If it prompts you to replace the other files, go ahead and do so!Now, for the crack. In the crack folder you unzipped, drag the file over to the game folder as well. For this file, you don’t have to overwrite the DMMd.exe file in the game folder; it’s okay if that and the DMMd_crack_for_ver110 are separate.Now create a shortcut for the crack and send it to the desktop. Rename it DRAMAtical Murder or whatever if you’d like.
Click on the shortcut to test out if the game starts up correctly. If I’ve recalled everything correctly, it should work! (Don’t worry if there’s briefly a black screen; the game takes a few moments to start up, especially if you have other programs running.)
Now onto the final step; The translation group has been kind enough to give a really nice guide to setting up the English patch. Unzip the English patch files wherever you saved them and follow the guide inside (which is also a walkthrough for the choices!), and you should now be able to play DRAMAtical Murder in full English!

No. Nothing from user experience changes (The only difference you'll see is that "/" symbol in folder paths will look like Yen (JPY)symbol) - locale setting is only about "under the hood" stuff about how the system handles foreign characters internally.

I'm not sure if this patch is the previous one (that works on macs) or the newer version (that only works for windows) Sorry it's not really useful, I justed wanted to share what i read in case it still didn't work and instead of not knowing why.

I need help! I managed to dl all of the files and extract them. I use daemon to mount them. Change to Japan local and managed to insall them. I also copied the english patch files to the original setup location. And run as admin for the dmmd crack but all I got is a black screen that fades to white and then black again and stuck there forever until I have to restart my comp. PLEASE HELP! I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!
