It’s five days before graduation, and Ryo Sasaki is in school, making up the hours needed to graduate with the other members of his class (he has a habit of cutting classes). For Ryo, it’s a quiet time to sit and reflect on the past year and all that had happened. As he thinks back on the past year, he remembers all his friends…Kaho, who dragged him into the literary arts club against his will. Kaho’s strange friend Kyoko, who was secretly in love with him. First of all - all uploads are checked before being posted - i can guarantee that there are no viruses.
That being said, some antiviruses detect DRM protection of orginal game exes as trojans - this is false positive as a result of how those things work ( encrypt code and connect to license server).
You can ignore those warnings and use cracked .exe's - they have DRM part removed.

I have problem with Crescendo. When I opened this game showed comunicat:There Will be no voice or sound effects beacouse the system does not support ADPCM files. Do you wish to continue? ( CODE = 0:0)
Later I tried installed Microsoft ADPCM Audio Codec, IMA ADPCM Audio Codec and all default codecs.. It didn’t work.
What should I do now?

I have tried using Daemon tools with the .iso files for disc one and two and all that happens is that it opens up a window that displays the contents of the rar file. If I try running CRESUST on either disc One or Two I get the start menu to come up but when I push play it says to insert the play disc. If I try to mount disc one or two the first problem I menitoned occurs. So what the heck am I doing wrong?

when u download a file is it okay to download it with winrar and extract/mount after that and if not what do i use to extract it with. If someone could make a video with what to download it with and how to mount/play the game it would be really helpful to all of us thanks

1. Download all the parts.
2. Use a tool such as hjsplit to join the parts together.
3. Extract using the program of your choice.
4. Open Daemon Tools and select a virtual drive. If it's your first time using it, click the "Add Virtual Drive" icon.
5. Click the "Add File" icon and locate the file that you had previously extracted.
6. Click and drag the file from the list into one of the virtual drives.
7. Install the game.

I downloaded all parts but happen to need only part 1, is this okay? the game runs fine and all I needed was part 1 with both disk to install and disk 1 to mount and play... will I ever need the other disk from the other parts?

If you downloaded all parts to the same folder, and extracted first one, then during extraction process winrar automatically opens following parts.
You won't be able to play this game by downloading single part only.

This is one of the first Visual Novels I played that I bought years ago and it was very nice. After I got over the rather large eyes the game was amazing.

Recommended.

By the way for those of you who got the game from here... is this a different version compared to the one sold in J-List?

First of all, sorry if I make some mistakes, I'm french x)
I have a problem:
I have installed the 4 parts, extract them, I have used Daemon Tools to mount the images & co, and the game installation worked. But, when I want to launch the game with "Play" button, it says that Cresus.exe is not working.
So this is my question: Where exactly have I to put the "CRESUS.exe" file?
I put one in the disc 1 and an other in the disc 2, but I'm not sure if it is what I had to do.

I hope somebody will understand where I failed and will be able to explain me what to do, I read so many good comments about this game!

Alright, let's see.

Crescendo isn't as good as I had hoped it would be. For one, it is overly dramatic. It gives you the option of choosing to be with two of your friends, but it really doesn't. The story-line directs you towards only one of the girls, and that kind of irritates me a bit.

Also, the text is on top of the images, instead of being in its own little box below. That kind of upset me as well.

Other than that, it was alright. The story-line was immersive enough, although dramatic (as I have said). It isn't the best I've played, but it also isn't the worst.

The download link leaves you with 2 iso files, you have to mount them both on the same virtual drive if you do that then the game should run fine

Ok for all you nice people out there, this one is abit tricky to do, so heres the steps.
1)Download and extract the game in the same folder
2)Download and install Daemon Lite Tools, if you have it go ahead and open it up.
3)Click add a new Virtual Drive
4)drag and drop Crescendo1 on to the Virtual Drive and open it up, then install and now here is where you guys are having the problem, when it says Please Insert The Game Disk CD-Rom you will need to drag and drop Crescendo2 on the Virtual Drive then hit OK on the Please Insert The Game Disk CD-Rom.
5)Enjoy

You don't mount them at once to two separate drives. Mount first one, then when asked to put CD2, unmount first and mount second to the same drive.

Crescendo is an all time classic, imo. I've played through this VN at least 20 times, and every time I find something new to love about it. Like, seriously. The art. While outdated, is extremely beautiful. And, the music is some of the best you're gonna' encounter in a VN. If you haven't played this for some reason, I recommend it strongly. Yuka's route especially, makes me tear up every time. (Literally, the only other VN to ever make me tear up was Kana. And, I mean, come on... Who DIDN'T cry playing through that thing?)

The rape is toward the end of Yuka's route. And, it's done about as tastefully as a rape scene can be done. Meaning, it's done to enhance the story, not just to have rape, for the sake of having rape. It's a pretty short scene, though. It can be skipped in like, literally 3 seconds, as well. (Oh, there's also a kind of rape-ish scene (Not really, because it's later identified as consensual.) At the start of Ayame's route. But, again it's rather tame. I honestly can't recommend Crescendo enough, though. I really hope the rape tag doesn't put you off. It's an epic VN.

I absorbed all the emotion of the that game and made me not to touch any VN game for 3 months and I'm fund of playing games ..

Man is this game great. I played Kana Little Sister and The Family Project from the same company, and I can say this will also pull your emotional strings, which is exactly what I wanted. I like all the routes for different reasons, even if the quality isn't as equal throughout. For personal reasons, I actually liked the "bad ending" for one of the routes more than the good ending. I wish the Japanese full voiced version was translated, because I'm still hungry for those extra scenes I've been hearing about. I'd be willing to even get it untranslated, but I don't know where to find a digital copy.
