Sunrider Academy

You are Kayto Shields, an ordinary man thrown into an extraordinary adventure. Eh this is nice and all, but I wish the devs would work on the main game haha. I want more mecha action! The gameplay part was surprisingly fun for me. It started pretty hard, but on my second play through I optimized by builds (SPAM CANNON!!) and rolled the enemies, using tactics like lining up enemies for a well placed Vanguard cannon blast then sweeping across the map, killing over half the opposition in a single turn haha.

That game is absurdly hard on the first playtrough were you are still getting the hang of the game.
I ended playing on very easy at the end of game because it was way too hard for me.

well, at least these 'chores' are more related to the game like building your character for different endings. A bit more elaborated but still the same.

BTW try out the sunrider:mask of arcadius if you have yet to.

The first one is not so beginner friendly though a few bad ends makes you understand what stats and tactic to use. If you play the first one then you'll find no problem in the second one.

If u dont like the gameplay of the first and second series, then u can drop out of most big name games in the J compartment e.g sengoku rance, tears to tiara & utawarerumono

Not unless you count the old school stat based dating sims gimicky. If so, then based on the demo, yes. Although I've also heard that there are difficulties that make it extremely easy, so it should be fine.

Anyone else have the Problem that clicking ITEM Button does nothing ?, i buy the Gifts in the Shop of the city like the Halo mentioned. Then the tut say click Items in conversation and choose gift. But nothing happens when i click it, regardess if im in a conversation or not.

I like this a lot, but it is old-school stat grinding/map moving dating sim. The quality is much higher than the ones I've played in the past, its quite excellent. The humor is kinda so-so and the music is..probably the weakest point to the whole thing really.

(To the person below, yes its the 18+ version as said other places in the comments. I don't suspect you'll see this answer though since you don't seem to read them)

Am I the only one who thinks the girls in this game look like crossdressing guys? Those facial features with sharp chins and edgy cheeks just makes them look much more manly than feminine to me. Not bashing the designs, just not what I personally expect in a bishoujo game.

Is there any way I can look up how the game's mechanics actually work? Like how the stats and jobs systems function or if the girls actually have any "preferences" when it came to encountering and talking to them.

I'm trying to focus on Sola but I seem to have more encounters with the other chicks. Trying to balance managing the clubs with your stats and getting work is kind of a bitch with how much stress I gain and the ridiculous failure rate this game has.

I already stripped it down to waifu mode but that doesn't seem to have had any impact on how many times I fail an activity. I thought it might have something to do with my stress level so I'm trying to keep it low, but the most effective way I can find is to just play video games. The game told me I could stay at home during break days but I never get the option when clicking "Home."

If you are filling up their hearts thats fine, possibly you haven't had enough events with her, there are some that you just have to see before they progress, perhaps you missed one. Its cheap/cheating? but you can just save scum a bad day if you are having problems with stress. (if you fail, your stress is going to be a lot higher than if you just succeed) I dunno, but by the time Asaga's birthday rolled around everyone's route was available.

Same thing happened to me. At 10 hearts, the girl stops randomly showing up for conversation. Unfortunately, in the case of Sola, you have to give her a specific gift (the Holo) in order to progress her story and open her route, and you can't give gifts unless it's in the context of a random encounter.

In your case, as in mine, it's impossible to progress with Sola, and you have to either go back to a previous save and keep her under 10 hearts until you give her the required gift, or start a new game.

There's a trick on Sola's Route

First interact with her and raise the hearts.(Don't fully raise the hearts to 10,8 hearts will be ok because it will automatically raise after you gave her the holo Gift)

For those "lazy" people wo do more enjoy the story (or h-scenes) than stat raising.. you can cheat a bit with your stats.

You can enable Developer mode (I think it was in game\options.rpy there is a line: config.developer = False
Change the False into True. Now you can open an console in the game with Shift+o
Here you can enter stat_intelligence = 1000
to set your int to that value and so on. Type exit to exit the console.
Statlist:
stat_fitness
stat_intelligence
stat_charisma
stat_stress
stat_money
stat_luck
stat_grade
stat_prestige
stat_homework

Hi there!

I wonder if anyone knows what's the problem i'm going to describe here.
If i try to enter any of the codes listed above or below, the console gives me an error which goes like this:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii'codec can't decode byte 0xe1 in position 5: ordinal not in range(128)

The normal console commands that are offered in the 'help' are working fine, anything aside that gives me this error, including pressing Enter without typing anything at all.

no you dont, to start an arc u need to trigger some events or get enough hearts. 10 hearts is to get chocolates or else its a game over at the end of pure day. Route like ava, u need to get into her arc before the liberation day holiday or else its a bad end even if u get 10 hearts. I found it the hard way and lost 3-4 hr worth of grind

To get Asaga arc, be sure to get the accidental breast viewing event in the previous month BEFORE her birthday, which usually entails doing some kind of training with kendo club, during a period where kendo is not the next upcoming event.

1.in the pure day between 4 girls at least must have 1 girl full heart? so after that, i can't speaking randomly to girl who full heart.. so i just want to full 1 girl with 10 heart, because so boring if the girl who has 10 heart can't conversation again.. and i can talk with three girls up graduation.

Black screen

I've just made it to the point where I see Sola naked in at the waterfall. But then, as I should see some tits (I suppose) the screen turns black, text is still there, story goes on. Then Sola turns her back to me, and I can see her again.

If this is the 18+ version, why is this happening?? Do I have to adjust or reedit some parameters? THX.

Game ending glitch? Keep getting sick after the 2nd day. Buy medicine that does nothing still sick just end up getting bad end. Kinda stupid as neither medicine or rest do anything other then getting bad end by day 5. Happens every time 2. :(

I know it may be too late but I've downloaded the game and had the same problem, no sound, i had already downloaded the restoration mod so i saw some files missing in the game folder, after pasting the content of the mod i entered the game and now i have sound, if any of you still have problems with sound here's the solution.
