Dang, I thought this game would never get translated!

but... but... this has been dead for 30 years... How?

Everyone thank Rattanman, he's the one who went through all that to translate it and make the patch (on his own I think).

As a heads up, you'll find that there are missing scenes you can only get by turning on animation and going through the scenes or turning it off and going through the scenes.

It's not that hard to avoid the bad end, just make two correct choices.

Anyway, it's pretty good but I find some translations to be a bit odd. Example, Goshujin-sama is left untranslated. Most people playing PB2 probably know what that means, but I'm not sure why it wasn't just translated as Master. Another example, a couple of times there's some saying that's translated literally with a translator's note next to it, not sure why it wasn't just translated to a similar saying or metaphor from English (for example "cats and dogs" in place of "monkeys and dogs" or whatever it was).

Still, like I said, good work. Hell of a lot better than what I'd ever by able to do and we've finally got a translation of this.

Because some translators think not all references to Japanese culture should be removed - and a lot of people prefer it like that too - I certainly do. I think ALL honorifics should be left in - and Japanese specific words should not be translated either - i.e I don't want 'squid balls'.

There is nothing wrong with having translator notes with a small explanation if one is required - and it is easy to look stuff up. People who only watch dubs or completely Americanized translations end up knowing shit all about the culture or language - they learn so much less.
