In the first half of 20th century, Rokuhara Shogunate rules Japan with an iron fist of robotic suits of armor called Tsurugi, while the West wants to turn Japan into another military base. A policeman called Kageaki Minato arrives into a city of Kamakura to solve various different cases involving Tsurugi users (or Mushas), and when all other means are proven useless, defeats them with a skillful use of his own Tsurugi, the bloody red Muramasa. But he doesn’t do that out of justice. He only wants to atone for his past sins and to defeat the most powerful Musha, one known as the Silver Star.

Set 5 years after the events of Kyonyuu Fantasy Gaiden, the story begins in the Kingdom of Hillsland, now sadly a shadow of its glorious days under the rule of King Ruin Demedium more than a century and a half ago. In the midst of the kingdom’s troubles with the kingdom of Fronce an amnesiac masked man with red hair washes up near a harbor. Unfortunately for him, upon entering town the masked man discovers too late that aside from memories he’s also lacking clothes and is quickly arrested by the authorities. Soon after his incarceration the man, taking the name Mask for lack of anything else , is given a chance at pardon (along with a group of imprisoned mermen pirates) in exchange for defeating a monster that has taken up residence in Boinbara’s castle. Meanwhile in the kingdom of Edellant, King Lute Hende has been apparently bedridden for nearly a month with none save the queens and his advisors having seen him since this sudden onset of illness…

It is an age when daemons and humans still live side by side. In the island Kingdom of Hillsland, separated from the Eurodia continent by the sea, the number of poverty-stricken daemons has been steadily increasing since the adoption of money as a medium of exchange. Some of those who lost family and property have begun assaulting moneylenders, in whom they see the root of their problems. Such incidents in turn widen the rift between human and daemonkind.
In this age, the function of educational institution in Hillsland is handled by the abbeys, among which the Royal Abbey is the most renowned, being the alma mater of the majority of elite government administrators. And one of its students—the lowest-ranking of them all—is the protagonist of this story, Ruin Dimidium, enrolled there by the special provincial quota. Being the only student whose future position was not decided weeks before his graduation, Ruin was considered the problem student of the honored Royal Abbey… until one day, he received an appointment as a military captain in the far-flung hamlet of Boobshire—a de facto relegation.

However, many rail lines had been discontinued due to the rising popularity of ‘aerocrafts’, a safe and convenient aerial mode of transport. As such, their accompanying railroads also went into a deep sleep.

The fandisc consists of the following: Houzuki’s chapter, the epilogues for the original game’s heroines, and a hidden omake.

For starters, Houzuki’s chapter will probably tie everything that was left unanswered in Himawari no Shoujo. Therefore, it is really a step that any reader shouldn’t skip, considering how it is canonically ending everything so far.
Houzuki’s chapter sets the timeframe many years before the events of Himawari, at the very same location. Akutsu Masaomi and Higuchi Saburou, the 2 protagonists of the story managed to survive from the hellish SHCP trial and enter in the final part of their examination.
They soon meet the current SHCP in charge of the town, Ari Ruruliant Houzuki. Cunning and often plotting behind their back, Ari will monitor them as the two will be in charge of Saika Miina, the only student with an obligation at that given time.
Masaomi progressively realize that Miina’s situation is completely irrational, but many obstacles will arise before him.
