The relationships in all the games progress fairly quickly, but are believable in that the protagonist knew both of the characters and there were already feelings present. But this one goes from 0 to 10 at the drop of a hat. One second you’re barely getting to the point where you drop the “san” off each other’s last names, next they’re screwing like rabbits and pledging lifelong fidelity. It’s hard to follow when you realize there was no time lapse, they’ve literally only known each other for a few days. Literally the best part of the plot for me was when the MC started asking the heroine from the first VN all this relationship advice, and she thought he was talking about her the whole time. Because there was actually, y’know, something there.

This whole thing woulda been way better if they hadn’t tried to make you believe that these two are head over heels after literally spending fewer than 20 hours total together.
