Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol.1

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol.1

Following the Heath Oslo incident, the existence of the US-Japanese anti-terror organization CIRS has become a matter of public knowledge. CIRS has been rebuilt from the ground up, and its most covert functions spun off to a new agency: SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development).

The goal of SORD is to train a new generation of operatives to defend the country against future threats. To that end, the organization has established a series of schools up and down the country. Mihama Academy, more-or-less left to rot after its abrupt closure, has been given new purpose as one such ‘specialist training school’.

This new incarnation of Mihama Academy is home to a diverse group of students, who every day work to polish their unusual skills – sometimes on the job. Mihama now entrusts the misfit girls who attend it with guns and live ammunition. Paying their own safety no heed, these students are again and again plunged into dangerous extrajudicial missions – all for the good of the realm.

“We’ve been granted a place in the world.
That alone isn’t enough – there wouldn’t be any meaning in living, if that was all we had…
It’s not enough just to get by on the backs of others. I live by my own strength, and I fight to survive.
That alone isn’t enough – there wouldn’t be any meaning in living, if that was all we had…
Because only the survivors among us belong with the living…”

No matter how much life grinds them down, what future awaits these girls, who’ve themselves chosen the path of the gun?

    1. Windows might be blocking creation of save files. Run the game as administrator (one of option when you right-click on game.exe ).

  1. When I start the game I get the info that steam can’t load Plugin krkrsteam.dll, in both games.
Do I need to do anything else than starting via the .exe?

  2. May sound kinda dumb but does anyone have or know how to get the original icon ? I’m king of a collection freak and this black skull on recent steam crack is stressing me out.

  3. Question – will this game spoil anything major in the main Grisaia trilogy? I’m leery of playing it because the description alone already spoiled part of the outcome of the third game.

    1. No its a spinoff that doesn’t actually feature any of the characters is set after the events of of eden and only shares world and locations

      1. I beg to disagree. The Thanatos System (clearly voiced by Kazumi) was featured explicitly. There was also a mention that the previous principal likes roses when Haruto was taking Arisaka-sensei to a tour, which clearly refers to Chizuru-sensei. I think there’s also a mention regarding the incident where Chizuru was saved by Yuuji.

  4. May i ask, is there romance in this one? I get that there is no H scenes in it, but romance and branching storylines is usually my main drive for VNs.

  5. Tnx admin~ so fast as always~ though I’d like to support you but got no cash here~ but I’ll gladly help if you implement adds(AdFly or something~)

  6. Well, I feel slightly spoiled by this summary. I should probably avoid downloading this game until after Eden.

    1. There is an anime available, if you want to watch it. You can probably find the episodes at soulreaperzone, animechiby or darklegends. Since they’re all mini-mkv sites, you’ll definitely want either VLC media player or Media Player Cinema: Home Classic(both are free).

  7. -Flips 300000 tables- They released this before Eden gdi xD
I know its not required but I wanna’ play this after rakuen…

    1. actually they are alll after amane stopped being the dorm mother so they taken mihama as HQ for special force kid like yuuji so yeah..this is after all of them graduate from mihama

          1. no, there is only a partial patch with many mistakes.
when you have doubts, you can look on VNDB.org since it the best chance to see if it was tranlated.
