Tokyo Alice

Tokyo Alice

Outa is your typical no nonsense guy who looks firmly towards reality… Too bad his air headed childhood friend, Arisu, can’t be as serious as him. Their lives go about as normal, until Arisu has been absent from school for a total of three days. As Outa wonders what’s wrong with her, she drifts past him in odd clothes with a mysterious look about her. Outa is then pulled into Wonderland along with her.

His mission? To save her, and drag her out of there no matter what. Amidst a mysterious world filled with talking rabbits and bickering flowers, why does Arisu insist on being called Alice? What’s her purpose there? And, does she even want to leave Wonderland?

For those of you who have issues with the white text, change the font. It doesn’t help the text in the image area, but in the textbox it makes it a dozen times easier. I used “Arial Unicode MS” with antialiasing. It was easy enough to read. Perhaps could be a little better, but managable.

Transliteration is a little off in some places, but most of the time, if you take a half second to think about it, you can get the meaning.

My own trip into wonderland was… surprisingly not too tough. I suppose a minor obsession with Alice in Wonderland and parodies of it left me slightly more prepared for the denizens’ level of sanity. Only died three times.

Dear Jesus the translation of this was terrible… On top of that, the white font made it quite hard to read the text. Sad since this seemed like it would be good. =/
